Love using Over Under as a DP, and I’m sure camera assistants will find it useful as well. It’s great for designing bracketed exposure tests - since finding this app, I haven’t designed a camera test without it! I also find it helpful for calculating fractional exposure changes when I have to use specific shutter angles to compensate for flickering practicals. I especially love that I can calculate cumulative changes across multiple exposure parameters. And unlike many cine apps, this one is intuitively and cleanly designed. 🙏🏽
As a professional cinematographer I love this app, it’s so convenient to have this quick calculating power at your fingertips. Given all the things to think about and consider on set it’s nice to have a quick and easy way to reliably make exposure adjustments. It’s a great and handy tool to have!!
I’m a camera assistant who’s terrible at math so I find this super handy on set
