Thrilled to have this app for my 4 year old! No longer dealing with YT rabbit holes and inappropriate content or having to navigate their terrible kids interface. The best part is you can search in this app, so you can find particular videos, which is important to my kid! So happy this app exists! I hope tin the future the developers can add the ability to make in-app playlists and organize videos better. But it’s still the best option out there!
This app is bringing so much peace of mind into our home. I am so grateful that I found it and recommend it to anyone with children. The safeguards it has in place from ads and downhill algorithms are refreshing. I appreciate the full control it allows as a parent to only approve videos or channels that have been allowed. I would enjoy having a feature that is able to block certain words in the titles or something along those lines, as a few channels that we subscribe to would be easier to filter some videos out, rather than me scrolling endlessly to do so one by one. Thank you for this great app!
I paid for the year subscription because I thought it would be great to be able to only allow the channels I approve and set time limits when I need to. However, the time limits don’t work properly. There are times I set it to unlimited time (think road-trips or long car rides) and my daughter is asking me probably every 10-20 minutes to add more time. So I have to login on the parent account and check the time limit, which still shows as unlimited. It may be a bug in the app but it renders one of the main features useless if I have to keep adding time even though I have it set to unlimited time. I gave it 3 stars because I do like that she can only watch the channels that I add. But If the time limit issue isn’t fixed, I won’t be renewing my subscription.
