To start, only one person can be a chat moderator. And only the moderator can add or remove people from a group. The app will randomly log you out and you won’t get notifications. The app will also only push notifications if you have really strong service. I’ve gotten 20 notifications pushed to me that were 3 days old once. Pictures load slow and you can only send one at a time. Overall the app is garbage.
Been using wickr pro with my company for about 6 months now. The tool has greatly streamlined our communications during the COVID work from home ordeal. The security is clearly well thought out and the interface is much improved from years ago. Looking forward to new features coming down the path. Suggestion: maybe have a forum where users can submit new feature requests for all of the wickr products.
Great app for the enterprise user. The sound and video quality for conference calls is smooth and no loss of quality. It is a great app for organizations that need to collaborate securely. Unfortunately, there are a couple easy tweaks that I think would make this app superb. - The app does not allow me to change the alert sound. I constantly miss messages from team members because it is the same sound as my default alerts on my device and I can’t change it. - I cannot determine if my co-worker read my message. Every other app out there has some sort of double check mark system letting you know the other user has read your message. - The app will log you out automatically after so many days. It should be the users decision to stay logged in continually to ensure the user doesn’t miss critical time sensitive messages. If the developers could make these small tweaks and changes to the app WICKR Enterprise would be a superb experience for me.
