Solitaire: Card Game 2024

I understand that creating a whole new deck to offer as a prize takes time. That said, I would much rather get smaller prizes (game booster, coins, etc) if it means getting daily tasks all the time. It has been a long time since I’ve had daily tasks, and if I’m going to pay for a subscription, I want to be able to do those tasks. It makes gameplay that much more enjoyable. Maybe save new decks for special events or something.

I downloaded this app a couple months ago, and loved the daily task feature to collect cards. I enjoy playing these specific solitaire games the most do this was a perfect fit. I started noticing a few weeks ago the task challenge counter was restarting its countdown without resetting the challenges. Keep in mind, by this time I had amassed over 20 cards towards the 52 card deck, had several thousand coins to use towards hints or reverse moves, and was over level 15. Frustrated, I decided to sign up and try the VIP trial to see if that would somehow knock the glitch out. I ended up cancelling the trial by day 5 because the challenges only reset 2-3 times during that time. And now here it is a couple more days later and the tasks challenge is still not resetting correctly, for example I checked the counter all day today and it was counting down to reset at 1am on 5/28, yet I opened the app at 12:30am and found the counter restarted for 25 more hours... no challenges again. This is extremely frustrating. So I figured ok fine, I don’t mind starting over, let me see if I could delete the app and start over and see if the tasks would finally reset correctly each day. NOPE! Not only did the tasks not reset and I have to start over, losing my coins, my level ranking, and any cards I had earned off the 52 card deck, but the task challenge indicator has completely disappeared... it’s just not even there anymore. The only thing on that area is a faint “X” and a puzzle piece that is a clickable link to magic puzzles. I cannot even express how disappointed I am and how annoying it is that I now have to try to find another decent solitaire game.

I’ve been playing and loving this app for some time now but the latest update has me looking for a new solitaire app. Solitaire for me is a soothing thing and the new look is very unattractive. I understand wanting to offer more but it would’ve been good to keep the original look as an option. In response to a request for more information: The cards are now far too small, even if you kept the sidebar they could be larger, but it would be far better, in my estimation, to remove the sidebar entirely, and use the space for the game. I understand why it exists, kind of app related advertising, but at least make it collapsible. Also, the cards now seem one dimensional rather than having a two dimensional look of before.
