Spaced Repetition SmartCards+

I tried it once, ages ago and back then they’d only allow you a certain number of views per day. This, of course, irritated me because if I can’t access these cards anytime and whenever then what’s the point of making them so I deleted the app and promptly moved back to quizlet. I will say though, the newest update allows for total app function and you only pay to remove add and it’s amazing and incredibly kind of the developer to do so. I’ve already completely moved over to this app and, dare I say, it’s completely over run quizlet - as they’ve removed pretty much all any card customisation and labelled it a premium subscription - but also the user interface of the app is so much more easier to navigate than quizlet. I will happily pay for ad removal just as a show of support to the developers. Edit: it would be nice if you could get a richer text in your flash cards I.E being able to hold certain words, bullet points, italicise, highlight/color certain words etc

I’ve only been using this for two weeks and I know I would be floundering without it. I am learning HànZì (Chinese characters) and as the number of characters I am supposed to know increases, the greater the challenge in remembering them all. I am also learning spoken Chinese and that means even more to memorize. Smart Cards allows me to import the ANKI decks from both courses, prioritize cards I’m having trouble with (the app already keeps track of the ones you don’t know) so I don’t waste time on characters, words or phrases I already know well. The decks I’m importing have a small sound clip with the correct pronunciation. SmartCards handles those seamlessly. There are features to this app I haven’t explored yet and I’m sure I’ll get around to it. But, if I can use the app ‘straight out of the box’ and have it work out for me, I think that’s a win for me. And if it’s working this well, that’s five stars in my book.
