On iOS 26.0.1 with the latest version of the app, it seems that some MP3 tracks fail to recognize their embedded album artwork. I have re-transferred the files three times and used tools like MP3TAG to rewrite the tags each time, but the issue persists and I haven’t been able to identify any pattern. The total number of local tracks is around 2,000.
For one thing, I would like to see a replay music, work better with voiceover. I say this because, I’m a blind man. And I have to have voiceover on, in order to use my iPhone with it. And also, I would love for Ever Play to work right on my iPad, when playing and listening to DSD files. But the only place I can do that for now, happens to be on my iPhone. On my iPad, all I get is loud, white noise and no music when I put a DSD file through it. this is something that you all need to fix. Another thing that I would like to see you fix, happens to be the equalizer. I’ve tried many configurations, but the sound did not change. Yay though, I’m using the free version of Ever Play music for right now. But, it would be wonderful if the equalizer worked. Please fix this!
I am a hifi fan. My iPhone typically spent about 500GB storing DSF, MQS musics. And I have bought Onkyo player, and KaiserTone player. I have tried Ever Play several times but still hesitant to subscribe or purchase the app. Thanks n the one hand, I really appreciate the UI design, which to my personal taste blows Onkyo one light year away. And Ever Play has pretty nice online lyrics support, as far as I tested (there are cases of wrong lyrics being matched though). On the other, it’s also the UI and the EQ that I’m not quite impressed yet. Because I have 500GB music in my phone, I typically prefer to search by artist, and I prefer to sort by album artist. Both are not handy or not available to Ever Play. And EQ is yet another limitation. I’d expect to normalize the sound by album gain or track gain, because even albums from the same artist not always at the same sound level. When I shuffle the songs, it’s cumbersome to frequently adjust the output level. I don’t think this is a feature Ever Play supports now. And, there is no high precision EQ support as well. I see this app has done good job and has lots of potential, but just not as impressive as I would hope at this moment. Keep up the good jobs and I will give Ever Play another test run next release.
