Daily TV Mass

The Daily TV Mass became a spiritual Resource for me during the Pandemic. I was grateful to be able to continue attending daily Mass, at least virtually. Although now I try to attend Mass in person daily, when that is not possible I attend virtually. Often, even though I have attended Mass in person, in my home parish (Lancaster, California) I listen to the Homily from the Daily TV Mass. The other spiritual services offered through this group have also been helpful, uplifting and encouraging to my spiritual journey and bringing me closer in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Thank you for this ministry.

I discovered your channel, resources, during the pandemic! I was able to take part in the Mass daily. It was such a great gift to me! I was able to share this with my husband of over 50 years. He had always prayed silently but now we could share the greatest prayer together ! We still attend Mass daily , when we are unable to attend in person, with your wonderful celebrants, deacons, singers and readers! Thank you so much for this gift. I cannot thank you enough for your daily mass. Thanks to you, I have not missed one day of mass since March 2,2022. I love the perspective the Jesuit priests give; especially but certainly not only Father Hank and Father John Barteo After the mass, I go to my local parish and do my 29 minutes of adoration before the mass. I have NOT missed a single day of adoration and have attended 97% of the masses in person Along with my daily mass, I fast until noon EVERY day (even on vacation where the hotels offer great breakfast). On Friday, I fast until 3 and do the Stations of the cross. I practice the Ignatian spiritual exercises, meditate and do the léxio divina on the Hallow App I am finishing yo the second go around on the Bible in a Year with Father Mike Schmitt (this has been the impetus for my growth) You should also know that prior to 3/2/22, I was a nominal Catholic and attended mass occasionally and more for my mother’s sake. I take cold showers every day and imagine being Daniel’s companion in the oven when that first drop hits me (especially in these winter months) I offer my shower up to our Lord and tell Him that my discomfort is nothing compared to what He endured on the cross. As a result of my consistent practice, I am living the “fruits of the spirit “ that St Paul talks about I hope my sharing this with you is not seen as boasting. I read a chapter in “the imitation of Christ” that one should not boast about their spiritual practice Please please please let me know if it does. My intention is not to brag but rather to convey the major impact that you all have had on my spiritual journey I’m enjoying the retreat very much God bless you
