Divine Mercy

I’ve been using this app for years, and have even donated money to the developers. I don’t know what happened, but the recent update is a nightmare. Movement between beads is painfully slow, there’s no longer a beeping sound, and there’s no vibration between bead movements, either. The lighted backgrounded used for the bead you’re on is off, highlighting the middle of the chain by the end of the chaplet. What was so bloody wrong with the previous version? If the next update doesn’t revert it back to normal, I’m ditching it. I really hope the same kind of “update” doesn’t happen to the Mary app. I use it to pray the Rosary and two chaplets. Maybe there’s a decent replacement out there.

This app will not allow me to set a notification time on my phone. Every time I try to set a time for it to send me a reminder that the three o’ clock is coming, the app tells me I do not have permission to change it from none to a reminder time. I went under my notifications and Divine Mercy does not show up there! This must be a glitch, since I noticed the same problem on my mom’s phone! Please fix this so that we can get reminders when it’s time to pray!

We love this app and have used it for several years. But our son who has autism and down syndrome and loves to be the leader when we pray cannot talk and so as leader he uses this app but it is too fast for him to speak along side of it. Nevertheless he can move the Beats manually. As we’ve gotten older we realize that we also would like to see it slow down so maybe an option to slow it down for those of us that think and talk a little slower as we age. Saw on one of their app of the Rosery where you have the ability to change the speed that would be a fantastic addition to this wonderful app and all things Divine Mercy.
