I’ve run through a bunch of different Nonogram apps in my time and this is easily the best, by a wide margin. Large Nonograms with controls that actually allow you to place squares without fat-fingering the grid, tons of different accessibility options, non-intrusive ads (one short/skippable ad after each completed Nonogram is minor by comparison), thousands of immediately accessible nonograms with more being added regularly, pictures that *actually* look like the description, I could honestly go on longer. It’s truthfully better than some PC/Console Picross/Nonogram games that I’ve played, and that’s after factoring in the use of ads. Where some reviews mention freezing, I want to mention that I don’t have that problem. Sometimes the app does get a little slow, but force closing it along with some other apps that run in the background and eat RAM fixes that 9 times out of 10. Again, it’s a minor, minor tradeoff for a great Nonogram app
EDIT: Game has been lagging. Like my taps do nothing for several seconds then all edits appear at once. I have the latest updates and I restart my phone occasionally. Lagging continues. Any idea what is happening? ORIGINAL: I only notice my phone getting hot when I play this game. I’ve had to stop playing for a while to get it to cool off. It bugs me a lot because I love playing this game. I’ve tried many versions of this game but only this particular one and one another one weren’t bogged down with ridiculous numbers of ads. I don’t mind ads because everyone needs to feed their families. But there’s a balance this app has with play time and ad time. Cursor control can be tricky. 20 x 20 is tough for hitting boxes I want to hit. I’ve only tried 1 of the 25 x 25 on my 8 plus. Idk if I can do that regularly. I was undoing more than I was doing. Well it seems my phone has cooled back down, so time for more puzzles. Ty 😊
I fell in love with nonograms years ago off a website that I used religiously - but I always wanted to find an app that mirrored it. This one hits all the marks - actually challenging puzzles (so many nonogram/picross apps never go above 15x15), TONS of puzzles with more being added all the time (I've been playing consistently for over a year and haven't come close to finishing), and a UI that is actually usable. I find that just trying to drag with my finger is so inaccurate especially on a small screen, and so the control pad is a godsend, and so easy to use. Like others said, it does eat your battery quickly, so play it plugged in, but it is one con to an otherwise perfect app. 100% recommend! EDIT: I really really hate to remove a star from my rating, but with the newest update, the app will NOT stop freezing! PLEASE FIX THIS BUG! It makes the app completely unusable and I can't give a game a 5 star review if I can't play it for more than 45 seconds at a time, sometimes as little as 10 seconds before it freezes. App developers, I'm begging you to fix this so I can go back to playing my favorite game!
