Reviews: What People Think About Galaxy Map
Harry ~ Potter
Rating: 5/5
I titled this review the mass figured it would be necessary given the large amount of data and knowledge plus information and years and years and I’m talking about centuries of research and considering it has the mass scales of every planet star cluster and so on it just seemed ideal I’ve got several star maps downloaded, but it must say very first one with a spaceship and I dig it! I think when the other viewers stated that it could be better I think what they meant was the planets like earth geologically could be more in depth. Understanding what it took to make what this is I applaud we know it’s earth they don’t need to have every Starbucks and 7-Eleven on it. That’s why we got Google Earth, this is impressive and anyone that knows anything about it knows what it took and I am delighted that this is free. I if you like that donate some money show some decency and tell them what you think because without your feedback they can’t fix it or maybe it hasn’t been thought of who knows take the time they did!

Don’t get me wrong, this game is great for me. I would love to explore the galaxy. And mobile too?! It’s great. But I really want it to be like space engine. The only thing I would like, is that when you go into a galaxy, you can click on any star. And that there are planets around it. And it can be fake, or generated. You can look at some space engine videos if you don’t understand. Again, great game. It might be hard, but I think you can do it. Pls respond if possible!

The parts of the app that actually work are really cool. They have 3D pictures of different nebulae that you can spin and zoom, and they have a separate map feature that lets you see where things are as well as a list feature that allows you to click on different nebulae off the list. The problem is, there’s no seamless way to shift between the map function and the 3D imagery feature. There’s no way to situate yourself while also seeing the star systems in detail. If you zoom in on the maps, it’ll just show a bunch of low-res dots. And you can only view one 3D image at a time. Not to mention, certain 3D images you have to buy to see, and even then not all of them are available.
It’s a cool app, but frustrating. The second another one comes out I’ll be switching over.
About Galaxy Map
The galaxy map is an interactive map of the Milky Way galaxy, Andromeda and their satellite galaxies. Explore the Orion Arm's nebulae and supernovae from the comfort of your spaceship. Fly through the atmosphere of Mars and many other planets and you can even land on them.
Discover the galaxy in a stunning three dimensional map based on NASA's artistic impression of the Milky Way galactic structure. Photos are taken by NASA spacecraft and ground based telescopes like Hubble Space Telescope, Chandra X-Ray, Herschel Space Observatory and the Spitzer Space Telescope.
This interactive 3D map is excellent for teachers to use for instruction, and it is a great astronomy resource for students to explore the Milky Way galaxy and space as they learn more about the universe we live in. Available in over 100 languages!
You can also
From the outskirts of the galaxy, in the Norma-Outer spiral arm to the galactic center's supermassive black hole Sagittarius A*, discover a galaxy full of amazing facts. Notable structures included: the Pillars of Creation, Helix Nebula, the Engraved Hourglass Nebula, the Pleiades, the Orion Arm (where the solar system and the Earth are located) with its Orion belt.
Check out neighboring dwarf galaxies such as Sagittarius and the Canis Major Overdensity, stellar streams as well as internal galactic components such as a variety of nebulae, star clusters or supernovae.
