I heard about Beam through a friend and I was skeptical at first because I guess I didnt really understand how it worked and assumed I would need to use the app anytime I paid but I was wrong! I just signed up and linked my card then anytime I normally made a purchase for lunch at dig inn or Inday they sent me a push notification to allow me to pick which non profit I could support. I can’t believe it’s free and these awesome businesses are supporting these causes. I really hope to see even more places I could shop on there!
I love being able to support causes that are important to me (such as women’s empowerment) through my everyday purchases at places like Dig Inn. Beam makes it super easy. It’s also a great way for me to find out which businesses are re-investing their profits toward improving our world, and makes me more likely to buy from there (that’s how I tried Think coffee and Dos Toros for the first time). Everyone should download this app to help support their favorite causes (with minimal effort and investment)
I downloaded beam about 6 months ago and have been extremely impressed. The interface is really easy and intuitive to use (my mom loves it too!). I happen to go to think coffee a lot and it always makes me feel a bit better about the world and my contributions when I can support causes I care about as part of my daily routine... I would recommend to anyone who wants to feel like they are part of a community and making a difference. Additionally I have discovered few brands through the app - I had never been to inday before using beam but now I go all the time (totally delicious!). Love it!
