Reported to administrators months ago that in order to switch between 2 properties in different LeMay divisions you need to delete and reinstall the app. Very useful if you only use it for your primary residence but those of us who manage many properties find the inability to monitor collection dates quite annoying, especially since it used to work fine in previous versions
I often don’t pay attention to when the collection trucks come and go. Then I realized that that’s one of the signs of a company that is doing a wonderful job of doing necessary work. We have never seen tire grooves on our land. We always see that the truck drivers take their time to yield to on coming vehicles on our relatively narrow streets. We never see debris on our streets that have fallen from the trucks or blown from the trucks. Their collection on holidays is amazing. They are reliable in their collections, and they’re usually on time, and that must be a credit to the behind the scenes who do the scheduling skillfully and competently.
Many folks lives are complicated by a lot of detail. We long for simplicity and I would surmise that so too, do the employees whom spent a significant chunk of their working lives looking up the pickup times for a nearly unlimited stream of customers whose memory doesn’t quite cover their account details like they used to. Fortunately, technology eventually comes to the rescue in the form of an app which fills in the blanks.
