This app does a good job for the basic features, but it could do so much more. One main problem I keep running into is my battery dying and not knowing it’s dead. Thankfully I haven’t found out it’s dead in a life or death situation but it would be a shame if it came to that one day! They could simply incorporate a push notification system that would tell you when your battery reaches a predetermined percentage (I.e. 50%, 25%, 10%, 5%, “critically low”, etc.). Or even allowing the user to select their open notification level. Otherwise the app is good enough I suppose. You can use it to open the safe but not great in an emergency, doesn’t show battery charging progress other than the fact that is is being charged, and a few other small things. But gets the job done I suppose.

I am in law enforcement and currently own two Vaultek safes. One is a small portable and the other larger for my nightstand. The security and performance of both are second to none. Both of mine have the fingerprint scanner and Bluetooth which works quickly and reliably. The company has the best customer service department I have ever dealt with. They answer all questions quickly and truly care about their customers which is rare today. The safes come packaged perfectly and include everything that you need. They are made of the highest quality and the reputation of the company is second to none. Many of my friends in law-enforcement have told me that this is the only gun safe they would purchase. I have and will continue highly recommend them to anyone who wants the best product and outstanding customer service. You cannot put a price on peace of mind

I got my Vaultek pro mxi safe at the end of July. After playing with the app and safe together for about a month i really appreciate them. I don’t use the app a lot as some of the cool features it offers I don’t enable because I have little children. I’ve had no issues with the touch pattern that some don’t care for. My girls occasionally play with my phone and I appreciate an extra layer of security. The app bluetooth to the safe fairly quick but could be a bit faster. I do enjoy adjusting the light setting on the phone and also checking my battery level as well as who’s been in the safe or who may be playing with the safe that shouldn’t be. You can also delete unwanted finger prints needed for safe access from the app. The app is lightening quick to open the safe but I personally keep that function disabled as once again I don’t want any accidents with children. The app is quick to respond to commands via the app but the connection time via Bluetooth is time consuming and in an emergency I’m going biometric to gain access ASAP. I love this safe and feel safe knowing my firearms are safe and away from my children’s hands. The app is very cool and offers cool other features that I haven’t gone into much detail into. I do wish there was a way to be notified via phone or app if someone was banging or trying to get access that shouldn’t be. But minus these couple mild issues I’m very satisfied with my app and with my safe. Thank you vaultek for keeping my firearms out of unnecessary little hands.
