You can be creative with this app. Make keychains with your contact info so your keys can return to you. Make your lock screen on your phone contain your contact info in case your phone gets lost. Both great ways to keep your personal information safe from the view of prying eyes. Great for small businesses to easily log inventory info into a scannable system to be printed onto labels. The list goes on! I don’t get why they don’t have a 5 star rating but you do from me!!

Intuitive, quick, and easy. I just needed it to give me the numbers on the gift cards I had bought in varying denominations. I had purchased eight gift cards from a bookstore, and the receipt listed the amount and the barcode number for each card. But the cards showed only the black lines of the barcode without the corresponding numerals, so I couldn’t tell which was which. I downloaded this app, and all I had to do was point the camera at a barcode and it instantly displayed the numerals. I don’t know if it has all the bells and whistles of other apps, but it does its simple things well. There are just three buttons: Scan, Result (which opens automatically after a scan and displays the number as well as options for sharing or uploading), and History.
