2048: Whiteout 2

This game is simple, but it looks and plays very nicely. One issue is that the animations for certain achievements cover up the screen for a bit, which gets somewhat annoying. An option to change the size of these animations could be implemented to fix this. The color schemes are super clean and actually readable. Overall, great game!

This is a color merge game with the same concept as 2048. It is my go-to for a quick game that doesn’t require intense concentration and can be picked up and put down at any time. There are a variety of theme colors that can be earned and purchased using stars. It is a spinner wheel for the theme awards though, and when it lands on a theme you already own you just lose those stars, which I don’t appreciate (also, when I upgraded my phone, it didn’t store my progress anywhere and I lost everything I had already unlocked). You can play in different size modes: the standard 4x4, an easier 5x5 and a more challenging 3x3. Overall, a great game that I always come back to.

Everyday I enjoy playing the tile game. A lot of efforts were made to keep us playing and challenged. I love the star reward to get additional theme. The ability to buy additional boost to keep the game going when you get to a dead end is fantastic, especially the unlimited boost options. The tile explosion is an added touch to make it more fun. It is an undertaking to get to the 12 geometrical shaped tiles and up for the challenge. Who is with me?
