Live Home 3D Pro: House Design

***UPDATE II***You heard it here first ppl! End of May 2024. This is a problem that started on April 4th 2024. I was told at that time it would be “a couple of weeks”. After going back and forth since then, I have been given excuse after excuse. This is beyond nuts! It has been 8 weeks that this app has been unusable. This is the only app that I have paid for and I am quickly regretting it. I am getting very close to contacting the FTC as this whole situation is becoming very questionable and deceiving. ***UPDATE*** As you can read in the developers response, the issue will be fixed in a week. I guess I should’ve asked which week as it’s been two weeks, 6 weeks in total that this app has been unusable. So many promises and no fix, such a shame. I have had this app for a few years and I never had any issues. I really loved using this app for many many projects. Recently there was an issue with changing the measurements and elevation of objects. When working properly all I had to due was keep my finger on the minus option and the object would continuously move until I lifted my finger. 4 weeks ago I discovered that was not working anymore. I contacted support and was given a generic response of “we are working on an update for the issue and we don’t know when it will be fixed” which is fine. I understand that these things take time but 4 weeks? I purchased the app and several packs and they are 100% unusable. I would have hoped for a quicker fix since ppl have paid to use this app. 4 weeks and counting with no fix just seems really crazy to me and very disappointing

UPDATE: Developers of this app are awesome and have awesome response time! I did discover that the reason why it was crashing was because of a super large 3rd party download from Trimble. I was able to remove it and get moving again. I have learned that when I download items from trimble - if they take longer than 30 seconds to download I automatically delete them so that they won’t be an issue. I would ding Trimble... I think they need to give more information and such on their items so you can be more educated about them before you download them... but I am LOVING Live Home 3D Pro!! I have so very much enjoyed this app and have had the most fun using it to design my house that is currently being built. Everything was going GREAT until this week! It started crashing!! It takes FOREVER to load (if it will load without an error)... and then a few minutes into working on the project it kicks me out of the app completely! I have deleted and reinstalled the app I don’t know how many times. I am on an Ipad Pro with plenty of memory and storage so I don’t know what is going on. It is super frustrating becuase I have spent so much time working on my project... what happened to this app?????? Right now I cannot recommend this app to anyone... 3 days ago I would have recommended it to everyone!

My husband and I were looking for an app to design the floor plan of our home, after trying the free version we decided this app was perfect! Areas for improvement; items could named a little better, more furniture variety (kitchen), ability to import free version design to pro when you buy the app, and timber accents would be nice too! I will say that it’s hard to figure how out how to SAVE or make sure it’s auto saving? Would be nice if you could save and edit the file name from inside the project under the settings tab. Other than that great app, highly recommend.
