Cricut Basics

I was extremely excited to be able to use my Cricut Air 2 from my phone. After going into the Cricut Design Space App, which is somewhat maneuverable, however if someone is not very tech savvy they will have a hard time understanding what each action means. If you can provide a description of which action means...like put a little i with a circle around it. Also, being able to upload an image to the design space from your mobile phone would be a significant plus! If the app where to add the upload feature, I would definitely change my rating to at least a 4 star!

I havent had to consider using a desktop computer in several years bc everything is so easy to access via smartphones but when I purchased my air 2 and was so excited to be able to have access via Bluetooth but now I'm not happy that you are still required to need a desktop to upload your own images which in my opinion is stupid because unless your behind on technology then there shouldn't be no need for a desktop again, that's my view of it

Wow. I would consider myself very tech savvy, but I find this app so hard to use. I cannot for the life of me figure out simple things like setting a font size in inches when the text wraps to different lines. I had a old-school cricut with font cartridges and every time I use the new version with the app, I start swearing. What was so easy before is so difficult now. And I could go on and on about layout tasks you would think would be easy, but aren't. The app on the computer is marginally better, but in both places I've experienced frequent crashes. If you're looking at the app reviews trying to decide if you want to buy a Cricut Explore Air, I would caution you against it. Try and find an old-school cartridge-based one and you'll be thanking me later.
