Like another rater said, it’s nice to not be hounded by ads. Kudos to the developer for making this app - it helps highlight color relationships, and lets you tweak colors/saturation/combinations to your hearts content. Kind of makes me feel like a budding Ellsworth Kelly...

I really like the way the developer found a good compromise between showing ads all the time and showing none at all. I don’t like apps that pester you with ads: ads when the app launches, ads that pop as the apps is being used, and ads that take up screen space. I get it the developer needs to get paid and relying on folks to pay for what they like is not a good option. So yeah one video ad every three days is really not a big deal for me. Ok what I really like pocket color wheel is the intuitive graphical interface. The ui is clean and easy to use. Simple and elegant and invaluable tool.

I think you should just get a fee for this handy app instead of the pay-to-stop-ads trick. Why not charge US$1.99? It is very annoying to have ads interfere and then try to be coaxed into legalized extortion - forcing me to pay to shut off ads. The world has tilted in the favor of advertisers. It is time to swing the pendulum the other way and take our world back from advertisers. They need to stick to static pages and we visit only when we choose - not them.
