The entire suite of adobe products is incredibleโฆ there are ALOT of apps that each require a lot of learning to figure out allllll the features within each one, but even with that being said, after I got the hang of it I realized I had been doing things the hard way! Using a lot of different apps to do all of the things I could do within ONE of the Adobe apps, Photoshop mainly. Of course Iโve been hearing bout Photoshop my whole life but I thought I liked my process?! However, when I forgot to cancel a free trial and was charged for the the bundle w all the apps I figured I might as well play around with them, since I paid for them. It turns out I couldnโt of been more wrong about my process. Even though thereโs a lot to learn, there are a ton of features that Iโd always WISHED were possible, things I used to have to fig out how to do in roundabout and often times very difficult waysโฆ that are done super easily within photoshop, etc. AND the apps integrate together so seamlessly that even if thereโs not a feature you want in one app, itโs easy to transfer your work over to another app, that WILL have what youโre looking for. I couldnโt love it more. The only thing Iโm NOT super excited about is adding another $30 subscription to my payments, but now I have no choice cuz Iโm freakin hooked. This is definitely not an app you want to have for only ONE monthโฆ youโll wanna keep once you realize thereโs nothing that could replace all the thingsโฆ esp after you put that much time into getting to know them all
Iโve been using this app almost daily for about 11 months now, and besides draining my poor old iphones battery, while simultaneously raising its temperature to rival that of the earths core, i will use it every day for a long time. Itโs perfect for what I need it for, which is editing photos for a fairly popular blog I run centered around stuffed animals. I own photoshop on desktop and I still prefer photoshop express for my editing and itโs simplicity and intuitive UI. The UI and UX designers of this app deserve a huge shoutout (and fat christmas bonus) for their amazing work on this app! I have the premium version due to having a photoshop license and itโs a huge part of why I love this app and adobe fresco- i really feel like iโm getting a bang for my buck. I hate desktop photoshop with its constant crashes and complex and unintuitive interface, but this app not only handles its rare crashes much better and saves almost all of your work it also simplifies a lot of the more complicated things photoshop is known for. The combine photos feature is a master piece! The only suggestion I have is most likely unrealistic- itโd be nice to add more than 5 image layers when using Combine Photos. Iโm sure resources are the issue preventing this though so Iโm fine with it being 5. Thanks developers for your outstanding work!!
I've used Adobes photo apps for a long time and honestly think that their app layouts are Numero Uno. Lightroom, PS Express, and Photo Fix are used everyday and I couldn't do what I do without Adobe. Well I probably could, but it wouldn't be as easy as it is now. Now If I was able to design the final piece to my -Adobe Photo Maintenance Collection-, it would be an app that would allow the user to analyze any photograph to determine if that photo is actually the original image, or if it's been munipulated. An example of munipulation would be receiving an image that has possibly been overlayed with another image, maybe it's had parts removed by cutout, or something was erased. An app like that would be to cool. If possible the app would attempt to reconstruct the image to it's original glory. The user could just tap a fix photo button and the program would attempt to remove as much of the overlay / cover-up as possible, then it would attempt to rebuild the photo to it's original look. While your at it could you all throw in a simple -Focus My Blurred Photo button-. Just take a blurred photo that's recognizable and bring it into focus. I mean it's all 1's and 0's right? I'm sure you guys and girls at Adobe have got this wrapped up already. Cheers!
Iโm having a lot of fun designing my own inspirational posts from my own photos. Adobe PsX makes this very easy with the editing of each layer. There could be some minor improvements, eg in the stroke for fonts (I havenโt figured out to cancel out of that once itโs in place without deleting the text and starting over completely) and the choice background color of the message in combination with the font color (which I would like to be able to make my own combinations for), or the spot correction that doesnโt allow for spot darkening/lightening, as far as I can tell and the spot correction that takes a blob from not always the best next spot over & creating a layering of branches instead of a darker spot in the background kind of thing. Overall this app provides a lot of excellent features. There are also other Adobe apps that connect into it with ease, but I havenโt had the need to use them in conjunction with this one. My concern is that at some point Adobe will turn around and charge me for use of the whole thing or have a monthly subscription for it making an older version obsolete, as is my experience with another Adobe product I used for years and donโt use enough to get a monthly for. This trepidation and minor adjustment mentioned above (maybe I need to check out the help section on this) made me drop a star. In the end Adobe is amazing and does deliver with its photo development apps.
I love this app. Everything I ever wanted in a photo editing app and more. The only thing I would change about it, if I could, is have another option for getting rid of blemishes. I love that tool and I wouldnโt change it because it works better than anything Iโve ever tried before or since. However, being able to edit the same area in a smaller amount, without it repeating the same actions over and over again, would help. It wants to replace it with the same thing no matter how many times I try getting one small area to change. I can usually stop that by saving my photo and then opening it back up into the app again and begin editing the place I want to change, in the blemish tool that I was using prior to saving my photo. I do wish the app didnโt begin to slow down significantly, as quickly as it does, forcing me to save my photo and then selecting the newly saved version, to keep editing. That happens frequently but itโs not terrible. Also, why does it take so long to save a photo, after Iโm done editing it? Sometimes it takes a full minute to a couple of minutes, to save it. Then you canโt open another photo until the app is done saving it to your phone. That part can take a long time to do and if you try to change anything on your photo while itโs saving it, the app will take a long time loading and sometimes it crashes. However, I find these problems and more, with a lot of photo editing apps. So taking that into consideration, this app is amazing and because it can do so many things that other apps canโt, I love this app.
