It cost 10 K to add to our Steinway. The most annoying thing was problem solving issues like the random announcement of IP address. I reached out twice and my husband several times. My encounters resulted in the person telling me “oh that happens…easy fix…I’ll send you an email.” I asked for tech-support and was informed they are out of state, and to contact by email. I sent a request to and never heard back. I can’t speak for everybody, but if you don’t have a Lotta extra money, buy CDs or a music subscription. If you have money get the Spiro by Steinway. Or at least do yourself a favor and look at it and not this dysfunctional piece of technology. Also of note, we have a friend that is a very good piano teacher, and the piano is a big part of her life. She cringed when she listen to some of the music because the rhythm was off. Just a lot of issues with the quality of the music.

I got my qrs system two days ago, and this app has had nonstop issues. It quits unexpectedly. Out of no where the secondary audio stops working even with audio not muted. You need to unplug and replug the piano to get this working again. There is no differentiating songs that have voice and other instruments from those that are just piano. When you select a song in a playlist or album, the piano plays a random different song and not the one selected! Support experience has been terrible. The staff either don’t respond or respond so delayed as to be unhelpful. I am literally shocked given how much the system costs. I am seriously considering returning the system. My recommendation to qrs is to hire a better app developer and start from square one. Rather then recommending this system, I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU DO NOT PURCHASE until these issues are addressed!

I only wish I’d read the reviews BEFORE buying this player. It cost a lot, and it’s been nothing but frustrating. Two customer service visits and multiple calls in just a few months. It’s still terrible. Reading these reviews, it’s clear that NOTHING has changed or improved. Shame on you for continuing to scam people with this piece of junk. It disconnects continually. App won’t load. The lady starts loudly announcing the IP address multiple times in the middle of the night! Three times last night waking up the whole house! I finally just unplugged the dumb thing. I was so excited to get this, and now I’m so regretful. They ought to be shut down. What is Steinway thinking by being associated with this?! Don’t buy it!
