eShakti – Custom Fashion

I used the app for a few days before making purchase. I had problems with putting in my measurements. The scroll bar to choose your numbers could also close the current screen you are using, if you go near the edge of your phone, then deletes all your unsaved data. Eventually I just wrote all my measurements separately and added them. But took over a half an hour because of that. It is great to see the dresses and outfits on models and the adjustments you want to make, though it wasn’t on all the clothing options. It would be awesome if they added a plus-sized model option because I feel all the outfits looks great on a skinny model, but how would they look on someone us20+?! I’m excited to see how my outfits fit, first custom measurements I’ve ever done!

The app is limited in selection. I can still find more when I go to the actual website. I’m glad my bag populates in the app from the website though. Also, you can’t do fabric customization in the app, which is a real inconvenience since I’ve bought so much and now really only ever completely customize all my orders. I wish they around offer fabric customization within the app. Even on the website that function is glitchy though. Still, I’m glad it exists and I remain a loyal customer. Lastly, I wish they would offer more knit patterns and different colors other than navy, red, and black. There is very little outside those color schemes.

I really like the eShakti website. I always struggled to find dresses that actually fit so I was so happy to find this company. Sometimes dresses take longer to arrive than promised but they send updates when that happens and if you tell them when you need something by, they make an effort to send your items by then (within reason). The app, however, blows. I continue to use it because you get an extra 10% off if you do but it is terrible. The search function has never worked for me so I have to scroll through everything to find what I want. Sometimes the app just doesn't load and there are always random items that won't load and will often cause the app to freeze. If you like one particular style of dress but not the color in the picture, there's no way to see all the other colors that dress comes in. The slide things used to enter your measurements are ridiculously difficult to use. It took me several minutes to enter my info because the stupid bar wouldn't stop on my number. I guess it's worth getting the app to save the 10% (especially if you buy as many dresses as I do) but just be prepared for it to be a pain.
