Word Games:

Nice that there are several games included, which provides some variety in play. Word Sun game relies too heavily on two letter words, it would be more fun to at least know the category of words in the Word Search when only the first letter is provided and some of the words (flowers for example) are so obscure that using hints is the only way to find a word that’s backwards. Love that the points accumulated offset hints & that there no ads or pop ups (but maybe I haven’t played long enough for them to start appearing).

I’ve had this game for years and was beyond excited when they added all the different categories of games. When I originally downloaded it, there was only word search and word find! So, I finished all the games in the “original” version and started playing in the “modern” version. However, there, the word find game isn’t available at all. Also, when playing word swipe, the old game allowed you to shuffle and kept the words you had already found grayed out. However, the modern game literally makes you start over! Otherwise, it’s a great game and I play it everyday!

This is a really cool game! But I give them 3 stars because they use obscure words people have never heard of...Feijoa? What is that?? 49yo and I’ve never heard of it, nor do I care to even look it up. Even my iPhone spell check wants to correct the word in this review...Kefir on a word find?? Never heard of it; didn’t even know it was a word...maybe I didn’t get the US English version...And there are also times you can make common words on the cloud challenge, but not the 3 letter word they thought of... have another app that gets all these right and more obscure words you find are a bonus.And then there is the word search where I literally found OWL...nope, not the three letter animal word they were looking for...oh wait, it is, but in a different place! Yeah I screenshot that one too...owl in 2 different places but you have to find it where they want you to find it, not just find it anywhere...they have a good thing but their word list should contain common traditional US English words most people gave heard of that grew up in the US, not obscure words few native English speaking Americans have heard of, and gave an engine that knows all combinations of common words letters can produce and make sure the word search doesn’t have duplicate words. ..reminded me of a Mensa test that’s supposed to test people’s intelligence where the test is put together be far less intelligent people than they are trying to find because Mensa tests include questions based on experience (like knowing what Feijoa is when you’ve never heard it; has nothing to do with intelligence) and smart (being educated and remembering what you’ve experienced) where experience and smart <> intelligence (intelligence cannot be taught)...so this should not get based on uncommon words...
