The counter stays stuck at the same number no matter how many new messages you get. Messages don’t always go through and can’t be deleted. Once you receive enough messages to scroll you will no longer be able to interact with any at the bottom. When you scroll down and let go the page bounces back to the top. Unless you pay for a premium membership you can’t set geographic distance for suggested contacts. With better identity verification and app functionality this could be much better.
