This is my first review of any mobile game Iโve ever played on iOS. IncrediMarble is a great idle game with a unique concept that has kept me hooked for months. I love that the golden slides change every 24 hours (or when you open the game after 24 hours), providing an extra challenge in order to achieve the highest amount of money/second. I recently got the final 2 pieces last week which is awesome. I went ahead and bought the ad-free IAP within the first week simply because I was playing so much, it saved me time, and it would support the developer. The ads were not intrusive at all to begin with, which is so refreshing to see in a free game. There are a couple small bugs, but nothing that ultimately takes away from the game. The main bug I have found is that some looping pieces, particularly the last 2, have a problem where some marbles simply get stuck in them. I am not sure if I need to give the marbles more momentum or they are simply a little glitched. Overall, I have had so much fun picking the marble slides that I deem grants the highest efficiency every day. With the changing golden slides, it adds a sort of puzzle aspect where you have to choose the right pieces for the marbles to slide through the golden slides the fastest. This is a great game and I hope the developer continues to update this game and hopefully add more content in the future (maybe more end game slides, or some sort of marble boosters/pinball bumpers would be cool).
This is genuinely one of the coolest ideas for an idle game (and just as a game in general) that Iโve ever played, and Iโve played a whole lot of them! Itโs so awesome being able to make plenty of varying marble machines with plenty of unique pieces and ways to play around with the physics of the marbles and pieces like the bouncy ball. It stays super interesting as it introduces new pieces that make more money, forcing you to be creative and tear down and rebuild your existing machines to make them even better than before so it stays fresh and keeps you thinking about which pieces youโre gonna use next! I donโt usually leave reviews for games unless I think theyโre something special and this is definitely something special and I hope it continues to be developed! The only drawback I can think of is thereโs a hard limit of 5 marble generators max, which seems like kind of a silly restriction. I think thereโd be a lot more room for creativeness if the generators werenโt capped out at 5 and just stayed incrementally more expensive like the other pieces are. Aside from that this is an amazing game and really deserves more attention!!
This is a generally great marble run game and my son loves it. There are lots of cool pieces and it performs pretty well. I haven't found any other mobile games like it, which I really appreciate. But I have to dock a couple stars due to its current state. It is fairly buggy. It crashes regularly. The dev frequently uses the word "idle" to describe the game, but I frequently return to my iPad to find that the game has crashed so I'm not really earning enough points to unlock more pieces unless I am actively babysitting it. The ad system for doubling points is also buggy. The button to activate it does not always appear, and often, when you click on it, it doesn't load the ads that contain timers, and closing those too soon does not give you the time boost it's supposed to. Also the ads are often for offensively stupid shovelware. Perhaps not the dev's fault, but if that bothers you, just pay for the ad free-version. And ever since the latest holiday update, the ad button has disappeared entirely, so my point accumulation has suddenly halved, which makes unlocking new pieces unbearably slow. Gameplay problems before the update weren't too numerous. It is hard to select and move around track pieces if you are zoomed out. My biggest complaint though is that there needs to be a better way to move marbles upward, as golden pieces are often very far away and very low on the map, so getting marbles high enough to take advantage of the bonus they provide is more frustrating than challenging. There is only one ramp that does this and it does not have a complementary catcher like the horizontal ramp does. You have to awkwardly bounce marbles off of other pieces and the trajectory is very inconsistent. An easy way to alleviate this could just be to make the map bigger, but I think a better way to move marbles up quickly would do wonders.
