Ikemen Villains Otome Game

To start off, the game is not bad but it’s not groundbreaking either. The storylines are very predictable and the mc is bland and boring. Tried to hard to make her seem “morally right” but it came off badly and honestly made her seem less like a good person in my opinion. ALSO, while playing Jude’s route I noticed some historical inaccuracy. For a story set in the 19th century England under the reign of queen Victoria, mentions of the Air Force is just ridiculous considering the branch was established well after that time period and we didn’t even have planes yet??? We still using carriages to get around😭 I’ve only done Jude’s route but I wouldn’t doubt if that was something in the rest of the routes too. Brush up on your history first please. Also all ikemen games are locked behind a paywall so that knocks off a star too. Difficult to grind for cards and events without blowing up your wallet.

i really love this game.. i would give it 5 stars realistically because the writing is so fire and the voice actors are so good and the ART SLAYS. but.. be prepared to save all the gems you get in the beginning in order to get through the story. DO NOT. succumb to using gems to read the story EVER. if you are f2p. tickets refresh at 2am MST. the first star lost is because of how f2p UNFRIENDLY the gacha is. even when i pay for monthly pass, it doesn’t get me any closer to a 3 pull. let alone a 10 pull. i wish the events helped you get diamonds or gacha tickets because even getting 10 pulls is like $50 THATS CRAZY??? even genshin impact isn’t that crazy because there’s opportunities to get gems through events. the second star lost is….WHEN ARE THE OTHER CHARACTERS COMING 😭😭 i know that the japanese ver of alfons has alr been out for a year! there’s people who have been waiting for jude and ellis in your review since April and july 2024. i have a lot of confusion if it’ll be single releases at a time or a group release. because mannn i really wanna play jude’s route 😔i hope i don’t have to wait another year! because i wont and thats money lost for yall 😫 and i know yall r hungry cuz the only ppl consistently playing this game r people who are rich or horrible at managing money. seriously even for the clothing events you gotta pay at least $100 for half a set IF YOURE LUCKY. praying the coming soon means in another month cuz that is manageable

I am so in love with this game. I've played IkeSen, IkeVamp, IkeRev, and IkePri, but IkeVil has got my heart completely. Unlike the other Ikemen series games, IkeVil has wonderfully, tightly woven plot. There are no plot armors that magically push the plot forward. Everything proceeds logistically, and I am just so thrilled at how wonderfully the story is written (and beautifully too! The language enraptures me; the imagery, the similes, the metaphors! Ah!) There was not one instance where I stopped and complained about how brainless the storyline was (like how I have with the other ikemen games). I am currently reading William's route, and William's character design is also fantastic (thoroughly explained background, why he acts the way he does, his nuanced "evilness", everything about him captures me). And of course, the art, the music, the VOICE ACTING. Ack, I am swooned! Oh! And last but not least, the MC actually has brains! I was able to stay on the same thought wavelength the entire route! That was such a pleasant surprise, given the innocent, naive, all-courage-but-no-brains MC types in the other ikemen games. I am delighted with how easily I am able to self-insert into this MC given the level of similarity we think.
