I have spent an absurd amount of time and money on otome games just to feel something, and in my professional opinion, Obey Me Nightbringer is the best of the best. I love the characters and the story. I followed from the original game. I’m Mammon and Satan’s biggest fan, they are my baby boys. (That’s also a crazy sentence to write and out of context sounds even CRAZIER) The gameplay of Nightbringer is sooooo good, such a well done and cute rhythm game. I’m a really big fan of the music they make, and it never feels stale or overplayed in the game’s context. The art for the rhythm mini game is amazing, so cute. The card system that supports everything is very reasonable too. Most games are very unfair on your ability to pull cards let alone pull quality cards. Even spending little to no money you could pull a card you really wanted! The art is usuallyyyyy super cute too 😁 Again, I really enjoy the characters and story. Even the events are so cute. My only wish is that they’d include your self insert character more into the event stories. Sometimes they feel like an afterthought to the event story which is alright sometimes because it can’t always be about me, but sometimes I wish they’d have something to do besides watch. I highly recommend Obey Me Nightbringer to everyone, I’ve told people in real life to play it a bunch too. I’m their biggest fan !
While the story line is definitely quite similar to the previous game, it’s a better experience in a lot of ways! The dance battles in the previous game have been changed into mini rhythm games very reminiscent of Muse Dash. This just makes these levels a lot more fun and has more of an impact on your score if you’re skilled enough to keep your combo! Though I will admit that as someone who’s played a fair amount of rhythm games, the beat maps could definitely be improved, with some higher difficulty levels. There’s also a good amount of options for ftp players I think, since if you can do some extreme levels and keep at it you don’t even have to go through gacha to get UR+ cards anymore. Though I do wish that for people that connected their accounts they would get extra bonuses in this new game, I also don’t mind starting from the very beginning again. I definitely recommend it to people that enjoyed the original game, or didn’t get to play it before! :)
So I’ve been playing og obey me for like two years now and I really like this new game a lot. I like the rhythm game because it makes progressing a lot more fun and interesting and the story contains info I think I can say most fans have been dying to know. I think it’s like a polished version of the original and I like how they kept a lot of aspects of the game similar or the same because we’ve already been playing that way for a long time. anyways. As for the new 3d stuff…I’m not even gonna beat around the bush here it looks bad…I think the concept was good but the execution was just awful and I came here to play obey me not the sims…I mean the characters just don’t look good, and most are whitewashed…the scenarios aren’t unique or interesting. I think that the game would’ve been just as good if not better without the whole 3d concept honestly. Fab snap and the FaceTime type features are enjoyable because they show the characters in more interactive, personal and fun situations but the characters are just…so creepy….Also, I dislike the fact that the lessons in the original obey me were just discontinued because I and many others worked so hard to level up our cards and we didn’t even get a proper ending…very sad :( and even with that there’s still sales and events on akuzon as well as vip still being available…cash grab much…anyways that’s all I was upset about I love both of the games and I’ll keep playing but I’m slightly annoyed and disappointed by the execution
