Idle Restaurant Tycoon: Empire

I really enjoyed this game when I first got it, and I have spent a lot of time on this game however the fun factor has continuously dropped with each restaurant that I’ve unlocked. The last straw for me has been the tavern Athena restaurant, the scripting is so bad for walking that big table 13 never gets cleaned. I have the maximum number of cleaners and they are maxed out upgrade wise, the cleaner who is supposed to clean big table 13 however walks around the entire map before going to the table which causes them to lose out on the time needed to clean the table before their shift is over. The scripting gets worse and worse as you progress through the game, the amount of money you make per day is quite inaccurate after the first restaurant, especially if you 2x profits because every restaurant after the first one, everyone (customers and staff) is walking out of their way for no reason. The customers from Athena don’t get their vehicles till the next morning at 6am cause they walk off screen and I’m assuming around the entire town just to get back to the parking lot, I’m assuming this is the same stroll that my cleaner is taking when their supposed to clean big table 13!

I’ve played this game for a long time now. I’ve enjoyed playing it but I’m getting a little frustrated with it lately. Only the first Restaraunt had any real additions when you renovated. Adding delivery service just doesn’t change much. Something new, truly new would be nice. A new restaurant would be great but I don’t see that happening. Plus, there are restaurants still waiting for the ability to renovate. When is that happening? Is it happening? Also giving us more time & restaurants to level up our managers would be nice. At least it would keep me busy for longer than a day or so. I’m almost at 5 stars in the highest renovations in all of my restaurants. I guess I find something else to play soon…..unless something changes. I used to spend a lot of money on this game. I won’t now. Not until a new restaurant is added or I can renovate other restaurants & actually build something besides delivery service in them. EDIT- no updates. Nothing. Nothing for more than 6 months. I spent a lot of money in this game & lost most of what I bought because of glitching but I still would’ve spent more once the game stabilized. Now though, nope. Every other game I play updates often or regularly. This one has had nothing. The same weekly events over & over. I give it 1 more month & that’s only because I really did enjoy the game very much BUT 1 more month then I take my money elsewhere.

The Good: This game is addictive and catchy. It’ll definitely keep you engaged and is perfect for passing time. The Bad: I had an issue with the game glitching and starting me over after already having the first restaurant completed and well into the second. There’s no cloud system for the game so there’s no way to retrieve progress. The Ugly: You’ll have to go through the tutorial all over again before being able to do anything else, and start all over again regardless of your previous progress if this ever happens to you. The Conclusion: Customer service responded immediately via here. It wasn’t through the application so I was given a better email and communication was excellent. They reimbursed me with codes to be redeemed but the only issue I have is that I was given codes that cited “already own.” Only the codes for the small & medium gems worked. After frustration, I stepped back in the game and took the minute to go back through the tutorial. After which, I was able to get into the settings that was locked. Sure enough, once I hit restore purchases, my major complaints have been resolved. I have 350 gems and the perks restored. I don’t have my Big Offline deal back or the one prior to that either, but I do have my unlimited 2x profit without ads. I haven’t been playing longer to see what else is really missing but all in all, I’ll send another email to say “never mind” about the codes that didn’t work. I’ll take my losses. Secondly to all of this: I hate that they can take a week to address this issue but close my ticket after I didn’t respond in ONE DAY. Lord FORBID that we—a customer—might actually have something going on in our life outside of GAMING.
