Idle Supermarket Tycoon - Shop

I’ve been playing this game for about a month now, and there are a few things I’ve noticed. Firstly, the ads won’t work in the first 20-60 seconds or so of gameplay, so trying to double the money accumulated during time away will pretty much never work. Secondly, in the franchise events I’m never able to get all 6 shelves, only 5, and they same with the cashiers (I think I should be able to have 10 and I can only have 9). This is not a money problem, it will tell me that I have 5/5 shelves but when I scroll down to the bottom of the shelves screen there is not option to purchase the last shelf. This is notable not a problem with the shelf stockers. The third problem I’ve noticed is that if I enter the game, gain an amount of money from away time, and exit the game after only a minute or two of gameplay, and later return to collect more away time money, the previous money... disappears. Say I had 311TV, I earn 1.2QV in away time, and when I come back later it says I have 325TV and have earned 1.2QV in away time. So it will count all money earned during gameplay but won’t add the money from when I was away. This is a problem because I’m getting to the point in the game where I’m a little stuck, 4 locations or so from the end, but not anywhere close to getting the next location. I’m considering deleting the game and restarting it, though I’m not sure it would work. All in all, it’s a very nice game with no invasive pop-up ads, it’s just got a few bugs the developers need to iron out before I could give it 5 full stars.

So I’ve played the game for a little bit now, not too long, but I have noticed that there are so many things that it always prompts you with that if you watch a 30 second ad, they will give you a big boost in something. Now while this is good and I would use it, it’s almost everywhere. I’m starting to not even use the little boosts because I feel like when I was, I was wasting more time on watching ads rather than actually playing the game. And it’s also almost like it knows I don’t wanna see ads, and it increases the amount so I do want to. For example: there is this “VIP” golden car that comes here and there and waits until you either accept or decline what it has to offer (usually money or gold) it usually isn’t too much of a boost, but I noticed something. When I would hit decline because it wouldn’t help me too much, it seemed as if the prize raised every time I hit decline, almost making me want to hit it eventually. This shouldn’t be what games like this are about. They should be about taking time to build your, in this case, shop, and actually enjoying the game, not just having ads always. Now I’m not saying get rid of them, as they are useful a lot and help you out, but I feel like they help you out too many times. I know this review will probably be buried at the bottom as I am a nobody and this is my first review ever for anything, but to the probably 2 people who will see this, just see if you notice what I said about there being a lot. Got to the Beverly Hills level, the one before Miami, and unlike what most of the recent comments will say, it isn’t impossible to do so. At first, I thought it would take quite a while to reach the money goal to move on, but I kept playing and upgrading. To progress in this game, all you have to do is come back to the game often, wait, and upgrade. They give you more then enough options for extra things when you watch ads, which in turn massively speed up your production. I was able to reach my money goal in a half hour with the ads that give you the express bonus and the double money from the ad. There are no forced ads in the game as well, which makes having to watch ads for the perks even better. The developers get money and I get perks, fair trade, but I see a lot of people complaining about this even when the money the developers are getting isn’t coming out of their pockets. I haven’t bought enough anything in the game. You do not need to spend real money in the game, and it is fun! I imagine that the last few levels might take quite a while to complete compared to the others, but that’s what idle games are. great game, very fun. In my opinion the things I have discussed make it a much better experience in total.
