i-Hunting : GPS Maps App

I would give this a 5 star review if the information updated once a month or even every 6 months. I’ve owned the property I live on for 4 YEARS and this app still lists the prior owner when I look my land up, there are places that have had new owners for going on 5 years that still show the previous owners.

This is a great app if you are looking for land maps with property line and ownership info. I like it how the parcel boundaries are highlighted when I focus on it and the ownership info appears on top. The application includes tons of layers, WMA boundaries that are easy to customize as a map overlay. One of the setting that I found only in this app is the ability to change elevation unit from feet to meter.

This is a good app to record hiking trips. Topo trail maps can be downloaded for offline use. Recording tracks is just a tap away. Used it to record a 4 hour hike this weekend. I was really surprised that my phones battery lasted that long. We even used it a few times to check that we were headed the right way. The app shows the track you have taken so far and where you are headed.
