Hypnosis with Joseph Clough

Excellent (and FREE!) hypnosis sessions with a ton of additional content and resources. I tried a number of different hypnosis apps, and I find these are the best sessions available. This app functions very well and is straightforward and intuitive in its design. The audio files are quick to download and still maintain great audio quality. The sound effect and light background music when in a hypnosis session are really effective and soothing, and now that I have done a number of sessions, just hearing them automatically sets my mind and body into relaxation mode right away. I use this app during the day if I just need to take things down a notch, or if I wake up at night and just want to super relax. There are so many content options that I haven’t even scratched the surface, and the way this app organizes it all really works well and makes it simple to find things. Just download it and give it a try. It may not be your cup of tea, but you have nothing to lose and potentially a ton to gain. Having this app ready and available on your device/phone is a great step towards peace and relaxation. Many thanks to the team that put this together and keeps adding to its great features. First off, thank you for finally updating this app so I can use it on the latest iOS version. I had to leave my iPad un-updated to use it for before bed. I paid for the full version, so I was kind of bummed that it had lost functionality on my phone for a bit, there! I began using this app (free version, with a few a la carte tracks I’d purchased along the way) while trying to heal myself from PTSD brought on by a difficult marriage/divorce and some health issues and right away I noticed positive changes in my outlook. After realizing I was using it a lot, I purchased the full version - I highly recommend it and believe it’s worth every penny! Around June of 2020, almost two years after I downloaded the app, my appetite began decreasing. There was no medical explanation for it, nor had there been any changes in my mental health. But I had been choosing the custom “Weight Loss” track on several occasions to play while I was going to sleep. I’m not 100% certain that this is the reason for the change or if it’s attributed to normal aging, but either way, the app is helpful in keeping me mindful. The voice used is extremely comforting, also, and the customization of selected tracks (especially the “Parenting Skills/Confidence” which I use when I’m hitting a rough patch being a single mom) is very, very helpful! I feel obligated to write this review because I am forever indebted to Joseph Clough. I have been listening to his hypnosis sessions through the app for years, since I was 16. I know he says that you should really be putting in more work and time and commitment to make changes in your life (such as going to his in-person retreats), but the app alone has really changed my life. Honestly, I use the app sometimes just for falling asleep. I swear Joseph has cured my insomnia and remedied my paranoia. Having been through several traumatic experiences, I have trouble falling asleep because I do not feel safe. Joseph’s sessions, however, make me feel a sense of security. His voice is soothing and his words are even more reassuring, and he makes sense. I feel like I go through a psychoanalysis of myself while listening to his recordings, and I can be introspective and work through my issues in a safe space without being self-loathing. I just saw tonight that Joseph posted a “Feel Safe” hypnosis. I am about to listen to it, but figured I’d give a review beforehand because I just love his work so much. I really cannot thank this man enough. He works through issues so logically that I forget that I am listening to a cis white man talking. He really has a worldly perspective and is insightful. Joseph Clough genuinely cares about his listeners, too, and you can hear it in the way he speaks. I would have a much more difficult, stressful, and overwhelming life without this app. Joseph, know that your work has made a difference.
