I LOVE the idea of having a Huntsville Utilities app. It is great, when it works. Most months the app will not work. You have to go through a long drawn out process to get it to work and sometimes after the long drawn out process, it still won’t work. :(
The app worked fine for making payments for the entire 3 years I used it. However, now when I open the app I only get a blank white screen. I do not think the app is compatible with ios 17 or greater. I look forward to a resolution from the city on this.
The app nor the website gives you the ability to obtain your user Id without calling customer service. No option for the app to save your log in credentials or use a finger print to log in. The app was very neglectfully put together. The engineers that developed the app must be fresh out of the vo-tech program at the community college. Would give it negative stars if I had the option.
