House Chores Cleaning Schedule

Giving it time to start to be intuitive helps. There are a few things that annoy me. I deleted every last task in order to rebuild them in the logical order. They should be re- arrangeable. Example - sweep before mopping. It’s a no brainer. Unload dryer should come after load dryer. But not if added in incorrect order. And we moved and have different rooms now but there’s no way to delete history which is something I need to reset. I will need to re-add all my rooms one by one and delete current ones. Some times it’s nice to check to see certain tasks completion dates like air conditioner filter. But I do not need to know when I last dusted. It’s automatic and weekly and doesn’t require tracking. I’ve rebuilt my tasks using only rotation tasks and monthly tasks. Daily and weekly are gone. Too much to keep up to date. Updated: I have found that subtasks can be dragged into order but generally it’s still a mind game to try to add chores in the order you need to do them. I’m the only person who does housework so delegating is not a concern but that feature looks like it wools be great for a family with kids who have some limited skills and can do simple chores around the house.

Even if you don’t like “checking the box” or you are not one who even likes lists.. this app is for you. This is so beautifully customizable that you can use it to simply keep up with what you have or have not done. The timetable and frequency of task is up to you. If you don’t want or need to complete a task, it allows you to skip it while keeping the schedule you set. Large chores can be broken down into smaller more manageable tasks in a more reasonable schedule. Odd and infrequent chores (changing filters, batteries etc) are never forgotten. Alerts are set per your preference. Keeping my living space clean and keeping track of household maintenance tasks is sooooo much easier because all of the tasks don’t become a mountain of work. You can even assign tasks to others and create other rooms and households. Love it! Love it! Love it!

Yeah, let’s face it. I’m not the most motivated person chore-wise. There. I said it. And even when I know I need to get some stuff done around the house, I am shut down because there is so much to do and instead of doing anything, I do nothing. But this app is really helpful to organise the chores into a rational, concrete, understandable checklist. Less overwhelming for sure. It’s awesome how it has like a ton of preset chores to pick from and add to your list, AND you can also chose to create a chore, ( like you can put ‘refil rabbits’ cage liner ‘ or something a bit more specific) you also choose how frequelty you do the chore. (wipe down mirrors every 2 weeks, for instance) or, if you wanted to, you can create a 1 specific day in which you do certain chores. Spring cleaning, if you will. And if you are willing to invest a little, you can have your whole family use the app and put your kids on the schedule as well. So yeah. I love this app.
