Hong Kong Disneyland

Everything is all about QR codes in HK. You’d think it would be the same at HK Disneyland but it really isn’t. This app is just a glorified map and nothing else. Can’t link tickets/passes to it. Can’t order food. Can’t link a DAS pass. They’ll give you a piece of paper that they sometimes stamp. Can’t link photos to it. They have a separate app for that and it is not intuitive at all. Nearly every option/link in this app will exit the app and open your web browser that directs you to the main website. The Disneyland (Anaheim) app is so intuitive and really ahead of its time that it completely blows my mind how absolutely frustrating, useless, and behind on technology the HK Disneyland app is. Especially given how everything is so QR reliant in Hong Kong. A paper map is less frustrating and easier to navigate than this app.

The app works pretty well for what it has on it, Ride info, show times, etc. but it could use more details on its descriptions about the shows and restaurants including how early you need to get to a show, parade/event route/locations and restaurant menus, etc. descriptions are very general so it's hard to tell what to expect. App works well for ride wait times, etc though.

Love looking at this app and visualizing my trip!
