This app STILL, after 4+ years, really needs customisable notification on/off toggles. The global “notifications on/off” option isn’t enough control. I need to be notified if there is an alarm event (ie: somebody is breaking into my house) but NOT if a sensor or contact is going online or offline 20 times randomly at 3am, and keeping me awake. Right now I can only turn everything off (not enough info) or leave everything on (too much info). The app is pretty barebones, with minimum control over granular stuff like this. Please homesecure, put some effort into some PROPER feature updates.
Serious Security and Service Concerns To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally address ongoing and serious security concerns involving my Homesecure system. Since January 2025, I have repeatedly requested Homesecure to provide me with a USB containing detailed alarm logs and access records. The USB was never officially delivered by Homesecure; instead, on July 21, 2025, a neighbour—who works at Microsoft—hand-delivered a USB to my home. This delivery raised significant concerns: It arrived in an unstamped, untracked envelope. It contained a letter printed on an incorrect Homesecure letterhead and low-quality paper. Homesecure has been unable to confirm dispatch or provide tracking. The chain of custody was clearly broken, suggesting potential forgery or malicious interference. I have preserved this USB as evidence, and due to the suspicious circumstances, I have not plugged it in. This incident is part of a larger pattern of unauthorized access, security breaches, and psychological intimidation affecting my property. I request that Homesecure urgently investigate this matter, provide a detailed explanation, and confirm any actions taken internally. Your prompt attention is appreciated. Orla Hamilton
Easy to use and very convenient when out and about. Could be better if they added automatic timer for alarm to be turned on/off or even a push notification as a reminder. Also, side note. The imagery for perimeter and motions doesn’t make sense, both show the inside of a house (to me anyway)!
