Higher Bond - Christian Dating

This company is new and is still growing so I’m being patient with that. This app is owned by a Christian family who truly values a Christ-centered approach to dating. The owner reached out to me directly which totally blew me away!!! They aren’t some huge secular corporate dating app with deep pockets. They truly care to help people find their person. I’m staying faithful and supporting them as they grow this great cause—which is so different than what we’ve been taught by the mainstream garbage dating apps out there. The church I attend (which is a large “non-denominational” style Baptist rooted church) does nothing to help singles in their walk to find their person. It’s like they think we’re all going to magically find our person at one of their cheesy monthly church events. Ummm… no. So us Christian singles are then left out there withering in the wind trying to figure it out on our own. I wish my church cared more about its singles community and promoted such a good, clean, and pure dating app like Higher Bond. But no thanks to my church, I was able to find this app on my own. I totally LOVE what they are doing and I highly recommend this app!!!

I understand not having enough people to show you different ones often, but the same 5 (I get the same 6-7 people, but they only show you 5 per day) people that you don’t align with cycling everyday?? Boring and not helpful. I think I would rather have the option to click something that says you don’t match with someone and have a blank space, than to open the app and show the same 5 faces everyday.I do like that the initial questions are Christian based/focused, and I like that they are really geared towards that (more than other apps are!). But it would also be nice to be able to change the answers to the questions when we 1st signed up. Things in life change and sometimes those answers change too.

I’ve had Higher Bond for going on 8 months and I love this community! The team that built this app did their due diligence and researched the things that work and the things that don’t about dating. On Higher Bond there isn’t the endless swiping which actually degrades brain chemistry. You get 5 matches a day and with the free profile you can send one “Like” a day. Because they are still expanding their user base, one like a day is more than enough for me. And I tried having the premium profile for a month which allows me to see additional photos of my matches and to start one “Conversation” a day. And I’ve now upgraded to being a premium member until I meet my future husband. So far I’ve met way more guys than I would just in my daily circles and I’ve had more meaningful conversations on here than I’ve had on any other apps. Haven’t found my future partner yet but I haven’t given up and Higher Bond has won me over as The App to have as a single Christian looking for a relationship. Their devotions and their focus is not solely on the success rate of the matches but on the spiritual wellbeing of their clients. It’s 5 stars for me and I don’t give those out lightly!
