Hero of Taslinia – Epic RPG

The greatest strength of this game if the character customization. However, that’s also a bit of my problem with it. Once you create a party member, that’s it. You can’t edit their appearance at all. This is kind of a huge issue for me, personally. I would really like to be able to freely customize their hair color, eyes, all that throughout the game. If not, I would at least like to be able to delete my data so I can start from scratch and have another go at making my characters. Unfortunately, there is no option to start over. It’s just personal preference, but it’s the only thing keeping me from enjoying the game.

I’ve played almost a week. By day 4, I felt the game was good enough to support. Spent a little money on the VIP and such. It was well balanced. Has a good news players quest that helps you progress through. Summons were balanced. It was fun with a little challenge. You could be a f2p and still have fun. The Update after Halloween changed everything. They added crap pulls. Lowered the rate so you have no chance at epic gear until you’ve done a crap ton of pulls to level up your pull rate. Stages are so hard now, you can’t complete the new player quests. They increased material drop, but also made it take a lot more materials to upgrade gear. I was on floor 16 of the tower and now I can’t even do floor 6. I’m mad that I spent money only for the game to be ruined for new players. The update probably helped keep things from getting too boring for the veteran players, but it’s so unbalanced now.

This game is genuinely so fun, I love being able to customize all of my characters, and there’s always something you can do. However, it’s just too glitchy. I have a gen 6 iPad, and I just can’t figure out why my game is so glitchy; the problem doesn’t seem to be with my device, since this has never happened with other apps before. My screen doesn’t seem to be wide enough to fit the entire game screen, so the sides are cut off. I understand that it was likely designed with the phone screen dimensions in mind, but the developers need to shrink or resize it to fit iPads as well, otherwise some functions are just hard to access, like the store & mines in the main area. The customization is the main draw of this game, but it also feels very limited. Obviously new hair styles, facial structures & the such are very much appreciated, but there are also things I’d like to request that shouldn’t take much effort to program. First is color options, there are just too little. I think it’d be a good idea to have us use gold or gems to unlock new hair/eye/skin colors, for a good sense of progression. Second, I’d like for all hairstyles to be accessible to both genders. Third, I’d like the option to change characters’ appearances even after you’ve made them. Perhaps limiting it to hairstyle/eye color/accessories would make it feel more realistic, but I’d just like a little freedom in this department so I don’t spend ages debating these options in case I change my mind later. I don’t think Hero of Taslinia deserves its (currently) 4.9 stars as of yet, but it’s genuinely a fun time. I’d still recommend this game, but there are just these small things that would make it a whole lot more enjoyable.
