This app is being used by scammers as a way to get a Bsb and an account number in order to come across as more legitimate. Unfortunately, a few people have been ripped off by scammers using this app and despite having a police report and reporting it to police, they have been unable to get their money back. Anytime you try to get in contact with somebody, you’re lead to a pdf which seems to include every piece of information relating to the business that you have to dig through to get any information - if you’re able to get that information they leave you on hold forever. Considering the people that use their services, I would be incredibly careful with the terms of services and seeing what information they collect from you and how it is used.
Hay is a decent enough banking app with a few minor UI bugs. The app itself has not been updated in close to a year, so has it been abandoned? With that said, it is very close to what Up was before Up started suffering from feature creep. Watch this space.
Once I started using the app, I started to see the benefits this Bank provides to my financial life. I drink way too much Coffee. Can’t wait for ApplePay. With free cash back on purchase less than $10, I am being rewarded for doing life. Based on the amount of coffee I drink each day and the bus - I should be getting back $72+ per year. First month I received back $2.70. I’ve switched all my spending over now. They should provide the cash back into a separate pot... but v1. Was sick of my credit card with those useless points that aren’t worth anything in this new world.
