Hallmark TV

Let me start by saying that my 15 year old could have built a better app. The Pro is only one and that is great movies to watch. Cons are many so please hang on. Let’s start with login on. This app does not even have the ability to stay logged in. You push pause you run the risk of not just having to start the show over but, to add insult to injury you will more than likely have to reload your cable information. Not sure who made this a part of the app but, reset assured most people do not lose the rights to the channel within a 24 hour period BUT, Hallmark is going to have you signing into your cable provider at least one time PER show. You are not able to fast forward, rewind and at times just pausing the show you may have to light a candle and spin around while chanting in hopes that it will still be in the same spot and may be able to finish your viewing. If you are in fact lucky enough to finish a show you and want to see another you will have the app freeze and than you have the pleasure of not only restarting it (make it reload) but, now you get to prove yet again that you do in fact have cable and have paid to be on the app. Hallmark this is basic problems that should never have been in place to be a problem. As a mom I do not have the time to rewatch shows till it gets to where I was 40 minutes before. I do enjoy the shows and movies but, the anxiety of using your app to watch them is becoming a nuisance that I just cannot endure every time. I will end off topic for a minute. Hallmark stop with all the political nonsense as there are many in the world who have different views and you throwing your very narrow lane in our path is quite pitiful.

I love all the Hallmark channels. One thing I still resent: I have Liberty Cable of PR and this service includes all Hallmark channels, but the app will not allow me to see all three channels. The Cable service assured me that the only reason this occurs is because The Hallmark system doesn’t allow me to see all the channels in the app and they can’t do anything about it. My plead is this: allow the app users to see all three channels. The cable carrier charges a great deal of money for the service and states Hallmark needs to do the rest. Please allow cable customers to see all the channels they love to watch “on the go” in the app. Your movies are wonderful to watch at all times. Thank you

To whoever reads this, Pretty much almost any app that I have on my iPhone that has video-watching capabilities has the option to use Chrome Cast to cast what you are watching to a tv, so I was surprised & disappointed to find out that your app doesn’t offer this. ☹️ Also I don’t have Apple TV (yet), but meanwhile I can mirror what I see on my iPhone’s screen to then see the same thing on my tv using a long HDMI cord & the mirror adapter (maybe you aren’t even aware that this option is available?). While I was able to do this to watch a complete Hallmark movie, the movie would only show on my tv if I unplug the adapter from my iPhone each time after the commercial break & then plug it back in. You interrupt the movie with commercial breaks so often that we got really tired of doing this to a point where we almost didn’t finish watching the movie. 😠 It would be Awesome if you could fix this or make your app Chrome cast compatible as we would like to watch more of your movies on our TVs. It would be Fantastic if you could also add Live Streaming to your app as well! Other than that, what I like about the app is the amount of movies & tv shows that are available to watch. Impressive! I also like the option where you can resume watching a movie or tv show if you leave the app & later come back to finish watching whatever you were watching. Oh, & in case you need to know this, I have an iPhone 6 running on the 11.3 iOS. Thank you for reading my review & for your time. 🙂 ~G. Caffeinetrekkie
