I like this game as a sequel but I do not like the fact that there is a material cap and I feel like the gold should still be an exclusive currency, kind of like how it used to buy your packs in Guns Up! on the PC and Consol version also do not like how it takes time like a long time for the crates to open like one day for a crate, and I don’t even get anything good the one day-crate should guarantee a hero because you’re waiting a whole day just for a crate that barely gives you anything good not some of the things that I do you like or you know like where you can see the the base layout and you can also tell like what troops they have and stuff like that and I think the outpost should still have that little slit at the top for the word, the defense of cards, and I believe that you should still be able to get packs just like Guns Up! to make it like a true sequel so other than that I believe it’s a truly good game also love the fact that you guys brought in vehicles. I also don’t like how you have to spend gems to get a upgrade and you should be able to have a base power so you can see what it is. There might already be one. I don’t know correct me if I’m wrong I hope you guys see this and take this into consideration, and I also don’t like the gems like it costs a lot of gems for stuff. Also, I think if you do really good on the consul version, you should also get a special reward in the mobile version like 100 K gold in the consul version and then 100 K gems in this version but please just take him. I hope you guys see this. Have a great day!
Honestly, I enjoy playing this game a lot, but have noticed some things that just straight-up annoy me. I’m not sure if they were intentional or not, but first is the excessive range of the missile commander ability: it easily flattens any buildings that are completely spaced out from one another, with 2000+ HP despite only supposedly doing around 1500 damage. Oddly, the proximity of the missile’s contact point does not seem to affect the damage done to structures as it does to infantry. Furthermore, when considering AA guns, missiles can easily clip structures just slightly and still decimate them, despite the building shown to be fully protected by the AA gun’s zone. Next up, veterans. Truly I understand why there is no way to heal them currently: Fully leveled veterans can really turn the tide of a battle; However, I can quickly come to a solution to an overuse of veterans. -The life system would remain the same, but as players notice the veteran’s health drop, they can choose to take them out from their defenses to recover their health, which would be an non-skippable great amount of time such as 12 hours. To supplement this, players should have the opportunity to take veterans out from their defenses as to not get damaged if this said player would prefer to use veterans in an offense way. Overall, I really like this game despite never getting the opportunity to play the PS4/PC original. I still find it worthy of 5 stars because problems as small as this do not take away a great game design.
There’s some things I like and some things I don’t like. One thing I like is that it’s different from the console and pc version. That also is one thing I don’t like but it’s new and it is a mobile version (not port), so I’m fine with it being different in a few places. The gameplay loop is the same. The horde mode is interesting but feels lacking. The defend mode becoming a set number of waves instead of a endless onslaught of enemies doesn’t give it the same “to the last man” feel but then again this a mobile version. Now what I don’t like. The building upgrading and the materials cap. The building upgrading makes it feel like any other mobile game with a base you can build, edit, and upgrade. I prefer the console/pc version were it may have been really expensive but at least I’m not a building down for a time. Now the material cap. It is just so small. That also blends with the building upgrading. Basically I prefer the console/pc version of upgrading buildings and holding materials more. Another I don’t like is the loot boxes that take up a lot of time to open, and you can only have 4 at a time. I hate those, but with the uint and skill upgrading, I can see how they fit. The Console/PC version still is better in that regard though. Conclusion, good take on Guns Up for a mobile version but too many mobile game trends. Also thank you guys for even making this. Guns up is one of my favorite chillax games to play.
