In one of the mini puzzles it says to “restore the road” but gives you ZERO instructions. I tap around the screen to see if anything will light up or can be dragged??? Nothing. On another puzzle where you have to arrange the tiles within the larger tiles then put the larger tiles in the correct spots, I DID IT! But nothing. So I checked to make sure all the smaller tiles were correct. They were. But I still had to press SKIP to move on. Maybe there needs to be HINT buttons on the mini games if there is only minimal instructions. Otherwise I am enjoying the game. Will rate 3 stars until it’s fixed. Love Grim tales and Elephant Games. Cheers. PS: IPad mini 4, iOS 14.6. New update to 14.7.1 due tonight-will try again.
Once again, you played as protagonist and time traveler Anna Gray. The storyline was more novel than usual and focused on the salvation of a group of juvenile delinquents. The best part of the game for me was the talking skull, who is actually Richard Gray, Anna’s father. He was hilarious, rude and condescending in his interactions with his daughter. The actual gameplay was addictive, with a plethora of tasks at each location. The time traveling portion seemed like it was set in the 1960’s or early 1970’s, so the time setting was refreshing. For those who love collectibles, there were plenty: morphing objects, screensaver pieces, and character statuettes. The HO scenes had some variety, but none was incredibly unique. The puzzles/mini-games were mostly rotational in nature, and very simplistic. This game was extremely short, inclusive of the bonus adventure. I did enjoy this game, but for the price, there should have been length as well. I feel that Elephant is taking advantage of the gamers because they know we are desperate for new games. My actual rating is 4 stars. I deducted a star for brevity and for a lack of innovation. Despite those issues, it was a fun romp for me. Remember everyone, on July 9th we will have a new release from Oleg, and his games are lengthy! Happy July 4th to all!
I really enjoyed playing this game, however, I took away 1 star because it’s way too short. I was expecting a little longer game play.
