Christmas Stories 13: Mystery

Warning! If any of you are squeamish about mice and hideous rats, do NOT purchase this game. It’s based on the Nutcracker. I didn’t like all those rodents, but still I bravely faced my fears. The general gameplay is enjoyable, with some innovative inventory usage. I liked the HO scenes, as well as the puzzles and games. The graphics are truthfully gorgeous. In the bonus chapter, it’s off to Catstown. I also detest cats. The game was on the short side, but at least Elephant did not put exclamation points on the map if there was not an action, as opposed to an objective. There was a slight lack of touchscreen sensitivity as well. So I’ll be fair in my rating. If there were no rodents, I would have rated it 5 stars. But there were, so my review will be 4 stars! Happy holidays, everyone. Oh, I forgot to tell you. The next time we get a Mad Head, Friendly Fox agreed to give me what I want, so I picked which series. I don’t know when it will be or the title yet, but I can tell you it will be a Maze. That was a fabulous and unusual series, and if you love suspense and horror, be prepared to purchase it immediately! I’ll keep you up to date. Flawless play and very spirited for Christmas. Perfect! Thanks for a great Christmas game that reminds me of the ones we used to get a few years ago before quality went out the door. You guys continue to stay true to the genre and it’s clear you put a lot of work into it.
