Grammarly: AI Keyboard & Notes

Don’t waste your time downloading this app, or paying for the premium subscription. I’ve used this since last year and remained patient with the subscription recommendations and suggestions bombarding me for months. “You’re all out of samples” I endured it and continued using it since it still remained useful to me when writing assignments or writing my stories. However just recently after updating it, its functionalities have become increasingly unusable. It will no longer respond as requested. I can longer continue using an app that is clearly designed to work consistently unless there is a subscription involved. We have to pay in order to receive access and service for its functional mobility to continue? It’s not just the subscription that’s the issues it’s the fact that users have reported the exact same issues with the app. Even subscribers are dissatisfied with the service of the app. If subscribers and customers aren’t receiving what was originally advertised then this is merely just another result of a platform lack of consistency and quality with the content they provided. Profit seems to be a main objective for Grammarly instead of satisfaction of the users that downloaded it for their own benefit. Support other apps that care about their consumers and users. Using other alternatives might be the only advice I can offer for any who are in the same position as me.

What do you do when you know that you are a writer but you can’t write your way out of a paper sack? You know you’re a writer because you know you have a lot to say! It’s a part of my family legacy. We are social justice advocates just like Jesus, and so since I had so much to say, it was really really important that it looks great when you read it! Maya Angelou said ‘you have to learn the rules before you break them!”, in answer to my question of the use of slang like slave dialect. I can definitely tell you that..well since I never learned all of the rules of English grammar to the great chagrin of Shrunk and White…yes, of this am sure. I had to learn wing it from the way my ear heard great writing when I read I understand it is a gift and not something that anyone could learn. But I still had major problems because people like Stephen King; I pray, will read my book since he gave me such great advice on writing. Everyone should go to a reading of an author at your local bookstore. Pay a little more for the book than you will at certain places and have an experience that you will cherish for a lifetime. And so it is that I will end my tale of woe that could have been except Grammarly stepped in. And now I’m able to tell you that I’ve even used 2686 unique words than 86% of the average Grammarly user. How fun was that when you come to understand that; yes, I do have something to say and add to the community of great writers even in the middle of taking solace that Martin Luther King was also a poor speller. Enjoy using this program and tell the world something wonderful.

Suggestion: when a correction is suggested it would be nice if the reason/rule of grammar is quoted so we’ll learn at the same time. Maybe that's a premium service idk but that way you actually learn versus just blindly accepting correction and sometime not knowing exactly what or why the grammatical error is you’re making. IJS....Also I was proofreading my answers to a test and out of four questions asked one was supposed to have a grammar error. I typed all four sentences exactly into Grammarly but it didn't indicate any errors/corrections needed. Yet of course according to the test you were to identify the one that was wrong. So I hope I chose the right answer based on their criteria. So I don't know what's right the test or Grammarly. The test results don't tell you which were right answer not wrong; if they consider yours wrong, they just say it's wrong & give you the calculated score. Can somethings really be that subjective? I'm going to try and research the questions via another source and see if I can get different result. If that's the case then I may have an appeal to the test results scoring based in those questions that possibly could have more than one way for an answer to be considered correct.! Perhaps they need to update or clarify questions so there are no options for a correct answer. I'm sure there are plenty in this review because I ignored all suggestions.

It's really good. you can just set it up and if you get something wrong it corrects you! But I keep spelling ” wyd” and it keeps saying it's wrong. But overall it's really good! I'm using it right now I spelled using wrong and it said it was wrong it told me how to spell it! One thing I don't like is that I have to give it full access. The reason I gave you 4 stars is that sometimes it says your wrong but you're not. After 5 weeks I forgot how to spell coincidence and it only told me to spell convenience I had to look it up I'd like it if you would fix that so I don't have to look it up. Whenever I try to spell convenience now it tells me how to spell coincidence. Every time I have to spell coincidence or convenience I have to look it up. I like the app and it's really good. Even though it corrects me when I'm right is pretty good. But I would like you to fix that, please. I don't like looking it up. It's really easy to set up too. I like that you can pick new languages so that you can talk to people through text in their language. I like that you can do replacements for words. You can do lots of stuff with Grammarly. I really like Grammarly and I think people should get this app. Only if you fix the problem. I hope you read this. But I will still keep the app if you don't change it I might have to delete this app until you change my problem. I will wait for 1-2 months if you don't change it by then I will have to delete this app until you fix it. Please read this. I hope you stay safe. Please please, please read this.

I never go out of the way to write reviews for apps! This app is the best! I wish I could give this app a lot more than five stars. I own and run multiple businesses. My Position requires me to write a substantial amount. Not to mention I need to come across intelligent in a clear, concise manner. When I was in school, I was traumatized by the teachers defacing my papers with a red colored pencil. No matter how much time, energy or how hard I tried or revise my documents there be 1 million red marks in circles and notes on my writing. Every paper I wrote usually ended up with a big D or C on top. It was heartbreaking because I honestly like to write. I might not be naturally gifted when it comes to spelling and grammar. When I found this app, it changes the way I look at writing. Plus I have learned a lot in the process. I saw with my new found confidence I’ve been writing a lot more often. Don’t waste your time on the free version! I highly recommend the full version otherwise it’s useless to have. I have added this app on every computer and phone I own and use regularly! On another note, if you struggle with writing and proofreading, I also recommend turning on the dictation button in your settings. With Grammarly and being able to have my writing spoken out loud to me, it’s made a world of difference. This app is giving me a boost of confidence and technical help to be able to write and express myself the way I have it in my head. I find myself so overly excited and confident that I end up writing a novel with my new secret helper!🤫
