Goosebumps Horror Town

I have been playing this for 3 weeks now and still very much enjoy playing this game! If you’re unsure, download it and give it a try! Now I’ve not been spending as much time as I used when I first started the game, but still enjoy checking in and working on missions and such. There are a few bugs though that could be updated if the developer sees this. First, my Brooke character disappeared. I can still give her quests and she’ll do them and I’ll get the rewards, but her character can’t be seen. When I tap on her icon, it just shows me a house. Always the same house, but not her house. She doesn’t move. Another thing is that sometimes items and stuff disappear. It’s only happened once or twice and makes me scratch my head but it’s small enough that I don’t make it a big deal. I do also have a game suggestion/critique and it’s that some of the rewards for finishing missions could/should be increased. For example, it costs us 15,000 coins to put down decor sometimes even cash to finish a mission and we only get a 200 coin reward and some EXP. it feels unfair and I’ve since stopped trying to finish those if it doesn’t progress the story (sometimes even when it does). It would be really great if the developers could just increase the rewards to give us players more incentive to actually want to do a mission. But all in all, love the game!!

Edited* Adding another star, I’m liking this game more and more. There’s room for improvement, but it’s a pretty new game with tons of potential. I’m hoping there will be expansions soon, it seems like I may be coming up on the highest level pretty quickly. The devs have done a great job, fun and keeps me playing multiple times a day.* It’s a very cute game, pretty fun so far. I seem to have a lot of technical problems with it though, I get an error that says it “can’t connect to the internet” frequently. I know I’m connected, and don’t have this issue with any other games, so it has to be a problem with this app. I also feel a little annoyed with the sale bundles. There was a bundle for 5 bucks, which included a character that was sold separately for 40 goosebump dollars. I ended up buying that character and it automatically removed her from the bundle deal, but the price stayed the same. I feel like if a significant part of the bundle is removed, it should either be replaced with something else or the cost should be lowered. Minor things that won’t stop me from playing, but I probably won’t spend any actual money on it. On the plus side, you can pretty much get unlimited goosebump dollars from the drive in right now by watching ads, however I suspect the particular glitch will be corrected pretty soon, haha. Overall, decent game, I’ll stick with it for quite a while I think.

This game is great! It has all of the childhood nostalgia, good characters and quests, enough to do that you don’t get bored in 30 seconds, and just the right amount of IAP. You can purchase things to make the game progress more quickly if you don’t mind throwing devs a few bucks, but you don’t feel like you’re required to do so to progress the game along. There’s plenty to do without it and you can earn in-game currency at a reasonable speed. The only thing I’d suggest to make this a top notch franchise game is a town planning mode. I’m currently at level 14, and I’ve got a pretty messy town. I want to group certain buildings together, but that’s hard to do without the planning mode that is common in type of game which allows you to store all of your buildings and place them where you want them. It does allow construction of streets and land, but again, it would be much easier to organize my town if I could store my buildings while I’m doing it. A planning mode is the ONLY thing I could possibly suggest to improve this game! If you enjoy strategy games and spooky things, or if you’re a Goosebumps fan, I highly recommend it!
