GFAM Movie Checklist

Take a long time to load whenever you select a movie. When you want to back out to go back to the list of all the movies, you have to hit the back arrow wait for it to load then hit it again and wait for it to load again. I should only have to hit the back arrow once to be taken back to the movie list. Takes a bunch of extra time. This has been an issue since the beginning of the app. A year with no improvement is not a good sign. I also wish that there was an option to add all of the movies for that season to your watchlist instead of having to do it individually. Lastly the new Christmas movies for this year are all out of order. A movie that just premiered on Saturday says that it doesn’t premier for another 8 weeks. makes it difficult to know which movie premieres I’m supposed to be looking to watch each weekend. Would love to see some major improvements to the app.

This is a fairly nice app. On an occasion or 2 it seemed to default to 2023 checklists & older. It appears to be the section below below the previews which shows outdated info such as the “what’s on tonight” - not working, and shows “Christmas in July” & “July calendars”; these section need to be updated. It would be nice if we could have a calendar widget list to put on our Home Screen to show what’s on today/tonight. It would be nice if they could somewhere show a daily schedule of what’s on in list form. The only thing I can find in the app are previews of what’s on. I would prefer a list that I could scroll through & only watch previews if I choose to for a movie. It would also, be nice if they could somehow clarify exactly what the differences in each channel is; esp with all the recent changes & new Great American Pure Flix channel. And identify what shows/movies can only be seen on a certain channel temporarily or permanently.

Now that the holiday season is here I had hoped this app would be fixed by now. An app meant to be a guide to amazing movies has fallen flat, no update in 2 months. Not only is the app slower than molasses but when you go into a movie for details, to add to the calendar, or add to your list - upon going back to all the movie listings it starts you all over again rather than starting you from where you previously were. I had stopped using the app due to all these issues and thought I’d revisit the app since a few months had passed so I was greatly disappointed that there had been no change in at least 2 months. I know this is a newer network but I would think knowing how widely apps are used these days - especially the checklists for tv/movie channels - a developer would make sure to provided a top notch app. Even more so that an app would remain current and consistent rather not have had any updates in at least 2 months. I am asking as well as highly encouraging you to please work on this app! I myself have forgotten or missed many of your movies, even forgotten about your channel altogether, simply because of this app and not having movies in the calendar. Due to it being extremely slow and having to start over each time I’ve gotten frustrated or not had the kind of time this app is causing to add movies so I instead watch a channel with a fabulous working app that I have been easily able to add to the calendar and checklist. That reminds me, please also make it so the app can add to more than just one type of calendar other than Google. I in particular have iPhones and iPads so it would be nice to add to the calendars for these devices please. Thank you for considering my review suggestions! Blessings to you!
