Frasers Plus

I have used Klarna and Clearpay in the past and I thought I’d use Fraser plus as i thought it would be the same sort of thing. I made some purchases a while ago and the way the app is set up makes things really confusing so you don’t actually know what exactly you’re paying for when making payments. The amount I owed did not correlate with the amount I spent, and I worked out I had overpaid by at least £100. I spent and hour or more on the phone with customer service, giving them a breakdown of my purchases and they weren’t able to give me any clear reasons as to why I owed more, just telling me that’s my balance basically, he was quite patronising too saying “I’ve read your ‘little’ breakdown” trying to make out I’m stupid. I still came out of the conversation unclear to why I owed what I did, and I’m not a silly person, I work with numbers everyday so it wouldn’t have been difficult to understand. After speaking with a friend they also told me they experienced the same thing, just owing more money compared to what they bought, without any description as to what you’re paying for. It will literally just say £30 owed this month and not say what for? It’s bizarre, this company needs to be investigated because there’s something very dodgy going on.

I ordered at the end of December. I wanted to pay by three monthly instalments but I had to pay the first instalment pretty much immediately, that week, not a month later. Then I got an email at the end of December saying the second instalment was due, so I have had to pay two of the three months in just over a month because it’s fixed to pay them at the beginning of the month only. So, if you buy something on the 6th January, you have to pay a third of that the next day on the 7th January, you don’t pay it on the 6th February. You may as well just pay it in full, I’ve had to pay 2/3 of it in just over a month and one payment had to be made the same week I ordered, so it’s pay in two months not three really, with one payment being made immediately. Also, I have notifications that can’t be cleared, it’s really annoying to have big red numbers on my iPhone, telling me I have notifications that don’t exist. I’ve been through the entire app and clicked on literally everything half a dozen times and there is no notification and no way to clear it. I’m going to pay the third payment and delete the app, it’s really not good at all.

I’ve heard comments that payments did not ho through so they put a bad rating but my experience is quite ok in that I’ve been able to pay off amount perfectly fine . And I like using the App for HoF w massive sales of up to 90% off clothing , and then I like to purchase games from Game . Plus a lot will find Sports Direct very useful for their needs . My only gripe is that your app does not show where to find the available shops to shop at … it’s in middle of front page but the text is small and it really needs to be massively obvious where to press to go and shop ! More will shop if your store link is done better with big headings and the store logos with it on front page . At present it is not obvious and I’ve forgotten and had to search around your app to find the stores to shop at . So please amend your app design and make it more accessible for everyone .
