Franchise Hockey: Pro GM

This game has been very enjoyable since I’ve downloaded it a few weeks ago. It’s fairly intuitive, the tutorial teaches you what you need to know, and the only ads are to get a few free packs every day, nothing forced. I love hockey and this game is a really fun way to kill time throughout the day. The only problem I have up to this point is the long wait times between seasons. Every time you start a regular season, a 16 hour timer starts to the end of the season. You can skip this timer with a season token, but they can feel a bit scarce at times. You can occasionally get them as pack, login, or challenge rewards, but you’ll still find yourself waiting a lot. You can buy the tokens if you want, but the price is high with 3 season tokens costing $6.99. The lack of tokens isn’t too bad because you can have an unlimited number of team files, but it can be a bit annoying when you’re trying to progress a specific one. If I were the developers, I would implement an ad system similar to the daily packs. Something like: watch 3 ads, get a season token. This would probably be a better system as it would allow them to make money (as they deserve for making a solid free to play game) through ad revenue for the people who can’t justify the price tag. People who can afford it could continue to pay, and they would likely make a at least a little bit more money Overall, this game is really fun, but I think something similar to the solution I offered would be a win-win for the community and the developers

I’ve played a lot of hockey game apps and until I found this one, Big Win Hockey was my go to. I like that it was easy to pick up and don’t get matched up against higher level players at the start like other games. I play this everyday and have purchased a few of the bundles that are fair priced. The only thing I’ve noticed is the other franchise sports games like basketball and football have extra features that the Hockey game is missing. Adding the different game play styles and game tactics would be nice to see added to this game. I think adding a hall of fame feature where after playing like 10+ seasons with a player, they have they chance to be inducted into the hall of fame. Also, changing the franchise trophy to the Stanley cup would be awesome to see.

I got into this game after it was introduced to me by a friend. I was thoroughly enjoying it, and would be playing it daily. However, there was a hiatus where I stopped playing because I kept losing over and over again resulting in me being stuck at the same level. I came back to this game a couple months ago and am enjoying it once more, but it is just missing something. For one, I wish that players stats would transfer to their higher cards because it is difficult to get some of the achievements when my team is constantly changing, but some of the new players are just better versions of old. Also, I wish you could exchange players for cash or coins because they just become irrelevant. Lastly, I want a new mode to be introduced or something that might make use of clubs/clans to make the game more interactive with other players. Other than that, the game is enjoyable for something that you don’t have to spend a lot of time on!
