Mobile version doesn’t have Picture in Picture and it’s ruining my life. Other than that it’s a great app! I even use it over the streaming apps when watching live sports. But when I’m on my phone, having to exit the app for every text and then restart is draining my soul.
Mostly the app is pretty good. A little slow to start up when first loading, but once up, it runs pretty well. Issues I have so far A) The jump 10 seconds forward/back buttons are unresponsive as often (or more) as when they actually work. B) would be really nice to have options to download shows that have been recorded to be able to watch offline - but this is more of an enhancement request than a bug per se C) The Scheduled Recorded shows don’t show everything that is scheduled to record. Just seems to show a subset of shows. If you browse to a show and click manage recordings, you can see that it is scheduled to record but for some reason it just doesn’t show up in the list of scheduled shows to record D) would be really nice on the scheduled shows to record if there was a way to sort - e.g. see what’s scheduled to record today, or sort by show name. It’s not really clear how it is sorted. Might also be nice to just get a list by time/date rather than having to see only big icons and not see how many shows are scheduled. E) another enhancement request would be to allow you to setup recordings for shows that are currently in between seasons/have no upcoming shows. I’m coming off of TiVo with the “OnePass” capability, and I’d like to setup all of my recordings on this app. But if there’s nothing in the guide, it knows nothing about the show. So I’m likely to miss recordings when they come back next season or after a mid season break unless I know exactly when to watch for them in the guide. Overall - the app works well across TV, iPhone, iPad, but there’s definitely some learning/room for improvement.
