I just installed this app and within one minute I realized there’s no information on Terminal B parking. It shows Terminal B parking in the map, but there’s no additional information. As soon as you drill down into Parking it apparently assumes you’re in Central Parking. I know the Terminal B lot is very small in comparison, but Logan is cluster in terms of navigating the grounds. Sine guidance on B parking would be helpful. It looks like it’s under construction, and that hasn’t changed much since my first drive in in the 80s. Other reviews suggest there’s no point in me trying to use the other features as they are useless, too.
Very frustrating to use. If Apple had a “zero” star rating, I would select it. Very little workable functionality and plenty of “filler” content. If you’re a regular Logan traveler, most of the content is useless blab. Some of the failings are: 1) when you start the app, click on the Person icon, you’ll see your name. Now go try to buy tickets. Even though you appear to be logged in, you must log in again for the purchase process to consider your profile settings (for example, senior or other discount). By the way, app logs you out after some random time period. 2) If you somehow manage to complete a ticket purchase, try locating the new ticket in the app. You’re still logged in, right? Doesn’t matter. The app now needs to know your name and order number to find the new ticket purchase. Imagine doing all this when you’re in a hurry. In order to actually find the the new ticket, you have to find the purchase confirmation email and click on a link. My guess is that this app was developed by “somebody’s cousin” of one of the Massport managers, who steered the app software development contract to them. Either that or it could be an unfinished high school project. Who knows. The high schoolers would actually have done a better job with this.
The Logan Express drivers constantly miss their departure and arrival times. This app just throws in random times in to looks like it’s operating, but it is not. MassPort/Logan Express holds no one accountable to showing up on their schedule. The employee 77 uses GPS to show where each approaching bus is, which needs to be done with ALL the MassPort buses/shuttles. Too many of them sit over past International, leave their bus unattended which is a security issue. They nap on random areas and miss their times. It’s ridiculous and this app does nothing but show what a security problem the Logan Express drivers are for the whole airport because they are not being monitored.
