Flower Forest - Word Puzzle

I was delightfully surprised by this game. The simple yet original gameplay was a pleasure to play around with. In fact the puzzles are so unusual that it took me a couple levels to figure out how the puzzle designer thought. Once I figured out the basic concept and mechanics it was pretty straightforward. A couple things I will mention: The AppStore said 1-2 hours of gameplay. I have to assume that means you’re using hints. I enjoy the challenge so I don’t use hints, and while most of these puzzles can be solved in a couple minutes, others might take an hour or two without hints, so I got far more than 2 hours of gameplay. That’s a good thing. Also, this is not a word game in any sense. There are no words used in the game, just codes made of short letter sequences. There is a coding bug that causes the game to run slower the longer the game is played. It might even freeze up. It’s not a big problem since a quick game restart fixes the issue. If you enjoy visual-spatial puzzles this game is a joy and definitely worth your time.

Ah, finally. They changed it so the levels don’t repeat anymore. Wait… what level is this… 142? Yeah. I’ve done this before. Is it repeating again? OMG it is! Even level 143, too? This is sad. Only 41 new levels? What a lazy choice for a number. Why can’t they just pick a reasonable number? Aren’t they sad that their Flower Forest journey ended? Or are they still preparing? You imprudent feckless jerks! When I played, it started repeating at level 100. Then you changed it. Then on 142, it started up again! Why can’t you just be smart! Stop being selfish and lazy! Are you still preparing? If so, disregard my rude comments, but if not, then please create more. But I do have to thank you for the extra new 41 levels. Kept crafting! I’ll be waiting!

Creative puzzles with good hints and guided solutions for those times you just cannot see it. Requires good spatial ability and coordination to correctly position parts so you can identify letters. Fun to play with someone else, too. Most puzzles solve in under 3 minutes but some took me a full set of hints and 30+ minutes. Of the first 25ish puzzles, only one was designed in a way I would have never solved, but the hints and solutions (ad or cash) allowed me to continue.
