Flick Dunk

I downloaded this game because I thought it might be a fun way to pass the time on a flight. 5 months later I have found myself devoting a good chunk of my day to it. I play this game mindlessly throughout the day, sometimes while watching tv, sometimes while taking a break from work, sometimes while on the toilet. Instead of having an addiction to something like nicotine or alcohol, I have an addiction to this dumb little game. Is that sad? Yes. Will it happen to you if you download it? Probably not.

This game’s core concept is very addictive, however it burns out way too quickly. It didn’t take me very long at all to unlock all of balls and all three game modes. It needs more to do like a daily challenge level, balls with different weight/reactivity instead just different design, new backgrounds, etc. This a great game, fun way to pass the time, but they have neglected so much room to expand and create an even more exciting and replayable game.

This game is very addicting. I’ve collected all 60 balls, and I’m awaiting an update with new balls with a hefty stack of coins. The only things holding back the 5th star in my review, is lackluster features. It would be neat to see a statistics page with field goal percentage, exact number of misses, makes, and games played. Different backgrounds for the game while being played, and even different backboards. You could even go as far as implementing different unclockable streams behind the ball when you shoot it. Just a few thoughts. Thanks for a great, and simple game!
